Wine and Coffee are the two most overrated drinks of all time.

Never got the whole obsession with these two beverages.

Wine sucks if you’re drinking more than a sample size and coffee tastes like dirty water unless you flood it with sugar and cream which basically turns it into a glorified milkshake with caffeine.

Have I lost my mind here?

I could see if nobody made much of a big deal about them but they’re especially popular with women. I remember in college seeing 90% girl students wrapped around the line of a Dunkin Donuts just to get their morning fix of caffeine when they could buy a whole tin of it for a mere fraction of the price.

And idk where drinking wine became this awesome, classier method to unwind from all their daily stress. Just take a shot of whiskey or tequila and admit it tastes like sh!t and there you got your fix.

I went through that eye-opening phase of seeing what was genuinely aesthetic and attractive to women many years ago.

Once you get past the bigger is better / roidcel / bear mode perception, it's almost embarrassing to look back.

I take coffee black if I just want some caffeine but I still don’t like it. I like it with cream and sugar but rarely drink that either because I can’t drink milk and sugar is basically poison.

One exception I’ll make is coffee with chocolate MCT oil power (medium chain triglycerides). But the kind I like is expensive.

They make caffeinated pills, gum, mints, etc. I’ll take those. Much faster.

I mean I’ve been to wine vineyards with groups of friends doing the whole wine tasting thing and it was alright but nothing crazy.

Coffee is okay. I chug 2 cups in the morning just to facilitate my morning chit srs.

I like wine, but primarily champagne srs.

Get a nice bottle of champagne out with a group of friends before dinner or what not and it completely elevates the mood srs

Wine has to be paired with something. Cheese, meat, etc. Because of the acidity it's not a drink that can really be enjoyed in large quantities purely on its own. It will make your mouth and throat feel weird, and the wine will start to taste bad.

There is no reason as a man to drink anything else than black coffee, and they pretty much all taste the same.
