The Buffalo police yesterday, and many among the news this morning, including CBS Morning News lead story this morning that I just watched, are still all calling this a 'racist hate crime'

It would be most accurately described as not a hate crime but a terrorist attack - more specifically a 'neo-Nazi accelerationist terrorist attack' - or just a 'neo-Nazi terrorist attack' for media use

I'd go so far as to say law be made to enforce exactly that. However if the media and police are going to spread info to the public, at least get it right so that Americans know what to look out for. The internet should be cleared of all accelerationist propaganda. Any website owners and managers still allowing it should be seen as assisting terrorism themselves.

It amazes me that US citizens think its perfectly fine to put assault weapons in the hands of pretty much anyone with a pulse and think everything is going to be ok.
