How long would you wait for an interview before saying eff it and leaving

Had a zoom job interview. Waiting 25 minutes for the hiring manager and boyo didn't show up. I said see you later alligator and quit.
Then get a call back apologizing and wanted to do the meeting but the damage was done and I pretty much lost interest.
Because I don't post enough to care to and I forget the next day

Ask the manager what he'd do if you showed up late and left his interview team hanging for 25 mins. He knows the answer, he just doesn't like the shoe being on the other foot.

i waited 20 minutes at this pizza hut out in Fayetteville for the manager to show up

finally did, never got a call back

i was in at the time and looking for extra $$

It's a red flag for obvious reasons

but in my experience the person doing the phone screen is not necessarily representative of the hiring manager, the team you would be joining or the company as a whole

If they are just a recruiter or the ******* of the team, they literally give zero ****s about the hiring process

Imo if you actually are interested in the job for other reasons, I would still take the actual interview and go from there
