One of my favorite Youtubers did a bass cover of Crash Test Dummies. Yeah, the lead singer kind of sounds like a cross between Eddie Vedder and a frog, but they wrote a 10/10 bass line.

wasn't a huge hit but a pretty cool song - singer died fairly young and Cornell's 'Say Hello to Heaven' was dedicated to him

Two things you'll perceptively notice if you click on every track ITT:

1. The 90's was probably the most diverse time of music ever, today pretty much all mainstream music sounds the same because it uses like 2-3 chords, there really was something for everyone on the radio back then(this is a good thing)

2. If you get past the cheesiness of some of the "pop" chicks you'll realize that most of it was actually really good musically

It really was the best decade for music ever. Sure most of us are biased, but you had tons of originality, new styles being invented on the spot, and there seemed to be a nice balance between the genres. Generation ******** only seems to like pop/rap so everything feels empty and soulless.

This was actually a great punk band - the lead girl was just ugly and not very feminine, so it was kinda doomed to fail. Both albums they had were actually really damn good:

I had no idea she was that popular to have hits. When the Pawn is a great album, really interesting musically.

The decade started with the poster boy for one hit wonders and how NOT to spend your money if you ever got lucky enough to be one yourself.
