Massive gas price hike was an intentional agenda
and it was going to happen regardless in order to persuade the masses to adopt electric vehicles .
I’ve noticed recently that there have been several charging stations built . One gas station in the west Kootenays has actually removed all but one gas pump , and installed charging stations where the remaining ones were .
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the government had a big push for this , then they use any excuse to raise the price of gas and create shortages after there built .
It’s amazing how out of touch our governments are , thinking that everyone can just trade in their combustion engine vehicles for electric .
Instead it’s causing more inflation and instability, and eventually chaos I suspect .

And BC still can't even get decent internet and cell service to a bunch of areas, how TF they think they're going to get their act together enough to have enough charging stations for all these electric cars.

And it’s no coincidence that China absolutely mogs the fukk out of everyone when it comes to materials needed for batteries. Why does it seem so much of the world wants to elevate China to global leader while destroying the West, and that anyone who speaks out against that direction is demonized?

"if you cant afford the gas just take a bus or ride a bike!"
anyone who actually has a job knows this isnt always practical, especially with housing prices in BC

It's beyond ret@rded for them to be pushing for something that in no way can happen: Mass adoption of EV's. The materials do not exist for it to happen and the infrastructure does not exist for it to be feasible.
Additionally, it is the consumer that determines gas prices. When the current demand ( which is a result of previous lockdowns) is destroyed, prices will come down. Gasoline, after all, is a parishable item.

The want it so you can't afford a normal car and have to rely on gov't run public transportation, which limits your ability to move, which then gives them leverage to control you.

I would much rather see technology put into hydrogen . When you break down h2o and extract the hydrogen , you get oxygen as a byproduct. I can’t think of a better situation than that

OP you’re missing half the point. Your last remark regarding govt being out of touch is incorrect, because it is as you say part of the agenda. Part of the agenda is removal of the middle class. If you can’t afford to drive after this crash then you take public transport like the rest of the poor people.

now i know, there are no coincidences.
