The second amendment was made for white colonizers to defend the land they stole from the natives and slaves.

It was never meant for the general public.

In all honesty, I think the best way to control gun violence at this point in time is to allow only people with college degrees hold the right to own guns.

Most girls don't carry firearms, period. And rape is statistically low. You can prevent break ins with stronger entrance reinforcement.

Brb, make guns legal for everyone in order to protect yourself from a low occuring crime rate. And that rate is not ecause you got guns.

And getting a degree is possible. It's called community college. Get it by all means if you want the right to own a gun. It's a win win for everyone.

So if it's the intimidation factor that keeps crime from occuring, then the right thing do is to hire more security in stores and up the police force. The current requirements to legally own a gun is just too soft.

A. Business owner.
B. College degree.

But the other side of the argument is, car accidents happen everyday, should we ban cars? Should we ban guns? No.

And I think pro guns win this argument. Guns prevents alot of crimes. Shootings occur so rarely. And it's a risk we have to take on, just like car accidents.

The American Revolution was started by British trying to seize people's personal firearms. The Americans said no and the battle of Lexington and Concord happened.

So thats why it was put in the constitution. To ensure people have the right to own firearms.

I'm not a gun owner and I don't feel the need to own one but I believe that the 2nd amendment is a fundamental right and should not be trampled with because God only knows what the US will look like if the 2nd amendment was ever removed.

I caught the end of Dana lasche's show yesterday, I don't really like her show but she's pretty smart so I like listening to her, she mentioned the democrats are trying to push anyone owning a gun or wants to buy one needs a license and needs strict reviews of everything they own related to firearms and it's all going to be shifted to the doj away from atf if this gets passed? I only was able listen to a few minutes of it so I didn't hear all about it. But even when this **** gets shot down they'll keep trying again and again and get a little bit at a time. Soon we'll have single shot 22's, what we have now is not good enough to fight these tyrants but we're still too dangerous to them.
