Well there are a number of people here with various stages of narcissism and mental illness.
I was attracted to bodybuilding after being hospitalized for anorexia because at least you have to eat regularly vs. starve yourself.
But EOD is right that if you stop lifting and eat poorly then your looks go to hell. That happened to me at the beginning of the pandemic as gyms closed and I broke my face with nerve damage so I could barely walk for months. Then I started dieting too much and losing muscle.
Now I’m eating twice as much protein and basically following my forner trainer’s diet. I feel so much better and building muscle.

Also hmmm, makes sense for narcissistic people who are insecure and concerned about image and what will make them look good.
