Schools become laxxed. I go into a lot of schools and most just buzz you in with no security in site. Bigger schools usually are pretty secure but small rural? You could get in easy. It's pretty fkn scary actually.

Everyone should do homeschool/ co-ops anyways. Dedund public school and give the money to the parents to use for their children's education.

I agree with OP although I think this is the works of more than just democrats. Its a lot of folks in gov pulling the strings in order to get 40 billion approved. And they are pretty much burning that money since Ukraine is not only losing, they are using that weapon to kill their own citizens. I know US has long beef with Russia, but the war that Russia has waged on Ukraine is a just war. The US has studied their enemy so much that the facts actually works against NATO interest.

I would use that 40 billion to up the police force, fund education, upgrade infrastructure.
