Can’t stop popping percs

Tried 1 my coworker gave me and now for a few months I been taking around 60mg oxy every day. It just makes my 10 hour warehouse shifts go by super fast and easy. Life is depressing without them. Chit is getting super expensive.

Funnily enough this is the only drug I do, I don’t smoke or even drink alcohol nor even coffee. Just a perk.

Best friend in high school was addicted to them. It got to the point where he was chopping them up and snorting them. He ended up going to rehab and is sober now.

Please get help.

Hope you make it, this isn't the way. The times Ive had to take it I could feel how addicting it was for when I had my tooth extracted. But they combine it with tylonel. So I was taking them and tried to take like 2-3 and felt like dog ****. Might have fukked my liver up a bit with that one. Tylonel is SUPER dangerous for the liver if you take anymore than recommended. And these were like 1000mg I think.

Since then I dont take them. Had one of my impacted wisdom tooths removed recently and they prescribed it to me, didnt take it. Hooooly chit that hurt for a while. It hurt so much I was almost delirious for an hour until the advil kicked in.

Was prescribed some when i fukd up my knee...took one and gave me a stomach ache and never touched another one. Just stuck with tylenol 3. Pain pills never did anything for me unless i was on a drip at the hospital. Now that stuff was good but constipated the schit out of me.

OP here's what will happen.

the joy from the pills will go away, you will become depressed, and probably suicidal on them at some point. You will start taking more and more to get the same affect. At some point you WILL run out and go through terrible withdrawl and try heroin to get "by". Everything is laced with Fent these days, I know a guy that popped a fake oxy 10 mg and hit a spot that was pure fent and died in his sleep. This will happen to you. You will be happier without the drugs i promise you. Figure out why you are unhappy sober. get sober. get in NA. get clean.
