No one on this forum will ever admit this. Every response ITT blames everything from schools because they aren't fortresses, to anti-depressants. It used to be more good guys with guns but look how that turned out.

liberal circlejerks are comical

Well regulated referred to your equipment and training being up to par, the people were the militia back then.. You know, the average Joes willing to die for freedom fighting an oppressive government. Imagine being an American and not understanding the fundamental basis of our rights.

Turn off your internet and do more twinkie curls, fatty. Try not to piss yourself on the way to the pantry.

People who love guns just double down and people who don't go too far the other way. There are lots of examples around the world of proper legislation and more importantly cultural attitudes towards gun use.

You'd have to change generations of imprinted love for firearms and glorification of weapon use for almost half the population plus an entire ethnic group and that isn't going to happen. Way too far gone and the fact the politics are so insanely divided doesn't help. There's no compromise for anyone in the US system.

No, it doesn't. Just because you don't understand the context or language, doesn't mean it's open to interpretation. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" wouldn't be a part of the second amendment if "Well regulated" meant what you think it means. It would be a direct contradiction.

You are truly an imbecile. An anti-American one at that.

Which is why the adults in the room (Dems) have to tell the children in (Reps/rednecks) to sit the fuk down and pass legislation that's good for this country. Like they always have to do.

It's not imbecilic to still think a document over 200 years old is still gospel? I guess the Brits shouldn't have repealed the Magna Carta.

You interpret it that way because it fits your zealot ideology.

Right because societies only progress and get better as time passes. They never degrade and decline. They are always their more logical and moral today than they were yesterday. Just lmfao not sure if srs.

I'd much rather take instruction on how a good society ought to work from the phucking framers 200 years ago than whoever the phuck is running the show right now brah.

You don't agree with me so you hate your country. This is what it's like "discussing" topics with the majority around here.

Not saying the Republicans have done much in regards to "pass legislation that's good for this country" either though, to be clear.

They had complete control for two years under Trump and all they passed was a massive tax break bill for the rich and caused massive yearly deficits for years to come.

Republicans don't have a platform other than being anti-woke. Kinda hard to legislate that.

You just admitted your society has declined and degraded from what the original intent was. Shouldn't that mean that things need to change rather than accepting what they established 200 years ago? No, much better just to keep things the same. How's that working for you as a country?

Because the US had the sole job of winning WW2. There weren't any Brits, Russians or Canadians around. You guys were getting cucked by the Japanese until you dropped two atomic bombs.

Capital punishment has been proven to not deter people from committing offences but… given the demographic of school shooters I think it could. They are generally fearful kids. That’s said maybe they all just kill themselves before being caught.

FYI, I’m not against capital punishment just stating it doesn’t deter.

Not sure if srs lmfao. US followed a Europe-first strategy because Churchill and Stalin were phucking begging them to help the entire time brah. The war in the Pacific was over in phucking six months as soon as the US got to Midway and buttphucked the Japanese Navy in front of God and the whole world. Everything after that was containment until Chitler got btfo.

Six months into an existential war for their existence and they lose the pride of their Navy and it will literally never sail again lmaoooooooooo.
