🎦 Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
I've just watched it.
I wonder if any miscer has watched too?

It's been 11 years since...I can't believe it, I totally missed this one.

i saw it. made me think srs
it's a movie where when you watch it, you're worrying a wound. i think that's okay sometimes, and can even help. but at some point you have to stop and move on. you are alive, so live.

I remember reading the book when it first came out as part of a college course. I should watch the movie adaption.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

It’s not bad. I saw it when they released it. Want a current show, it’s 6 episodes in but is amazing. They first 6 are on HULU it’s called Under the Banner of Heaven. I’m hard to please movie/tv wise but this one is amazing.

I got done watching it last night. Thanks Kaz, it was an excellent movie!
Extremely touching movie and hit me in the feels and was teared up a few times. That scene when he finally explains why he couldn't pick up the phone, and he was watching the TV at the same time - that was brutal.
I looked up Oskar and surprised he doesn't have an acting career. He only did one other movie after that.
Max von Sydow was an absolute gem, as well.
Thanks for the recommendation! I had never heard of it before I saw this thread.
