Travelling to US …. Need advise about cash/card

Coming with around 5k

Will it be better to convert it into USD cash and then travel with that cash?

Or put larger sum in a Travelex card as USD and just have a few hundreds as cash

Pls tell brahs

Actually I'll answer you. I don't even use cash so you don't need it but I don't know wtf a Travelex card is or if it's even accepted places. I wouldn't worry about getting robbed of your cash here though. Not unless you're stupid waving it around.

Do with that knowledge whatever you will. Put it all on the Travel card if it's accepted places.

Hardly anyone uses cash here. Some stores dont even accept cash as payment anymore. I just use apple pay or a Visa credit card everywhere

Check out a gun range while your here and rent one or two it’s a lot of fun. Where about a are you going to visit? And how long? Also think keeping it in cash is a bad idea brah.

Yea that’s what a few people told me that cash is not used anymore.
I just don’t wanna use credit card due to currency conversion costs

It'll be 100x easier paying for things if you use a card. Not sure what Travelex is but if its a card, 100% use that instead of cash. Would take maybe $100 with me in cash for random mom and pop shops or street vendors.
