What would you do?

Greetings misc.

So after the gym I purchased some tequila. I was wearing a cut up Pink Floyd shirt, great band but that's not relevant.

As I get to my vehicle their are 2 young dudes in a pick up truck. One of the guys says, "excuse me sir, could you do us a big favor."

I immediately see where this is going. They see the shirt and think, this is the guy. One of them was also in a sidless shirt, which made me think, he's a young me.

He makes the pitch. I'm like, "maybe 20 years ago..."

Then he went right into negotiations. He offers ne $20. He sees the hesitation and makes it $40.

Turns out they were HS seniors headed down to the Jersey shore.

It was quite the dilemma.

What would you have done in this situation?

I wouldn't do it. What if they drank while driving and killed themselves or a family? I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

$40 is $40 man and I doubt he’d last very long being a high schooler. No one would even know you blew him.

Lol, that's exactly how it went down. I gave them the $20 back after the purchase and said we were cool. I did say not to drive once they were drinking, I'm sure advice from some random guy in a parking lot was well received.
