Finished the 3 episodes, pretty fuking great so far, although that dik scene was definitely unnecessary.

I think the two present day characters in that flashback were miscast but that's pretty much all I can complain about.

I mean it was great for shock value as a fuked up reference to that Antman crap, just wasn't expecting it. Guess they needed to ham it up at the beginning of the new season and to get people talking about it.

The guy that wrote Supernatural does this show.

Once you get past the first season, Supernatural is great and has many witty lines and situations.

The Boys is a direct satire so the writers can get wilder with it all.

I haven't watched the new episodes yet but the writer is typically great.

He also avoids woke stuff while having genuine positive messages in the humor and cynical stuff.

I love the Homelander character, it's great stuff.

Cuz though he is a superhero, he is just a man who fell in love with the wrong girl. Feels.

I view Homelander as a kind of good guy.

He has said over and over that he wants to be a real superhero, but keeps getting blocked.

Also, he was raised by total perverts and a lot of his f@cked up behavior is because he doesn't know any better and has warped ideas. However, he keeps trying to be better and normal.

He wants to pay attention to his kid, but doesn't know how, for instance.

Also, he will not kill people who don't lie or made a mistake.

He found out Starlight was siding with enemies but when she said she loved the guy, he did not kill her. He was like, oh...okay.

He didn't kill Butcher because he learned Butcher thought he raped his wife. Homelander, did not rape his wife, it appeared she had sex with him because she wanted to. So, Homelander understood where butcher was coming from.

That means that Homelander has his own code of ethics but is kind of crazy from having been raised by perverts.

Homelander has NO ONE who is nice to him which makes it worse.

The Boys:

They just want to murder anyone who is a type of person they don't approve of, thus they are the bad guys.

Butcher probably would have killed the baby in the first season if he could have.

Supernatural is one of my all time favorite shows.

I never cared about the seasonal plots but rather the characters and the witty dialogue.

I watch the Boys for the same reason. I don't really care what's going on but rather enjoy a lot of the acting and remarks.

The Homelander actor is great with facial expressions.

He played in a good crime show called Banshee and he was like Homelander with no powers, highly entertaining.

The extreme left pretends to be virtuous while fighting the extremist right.

Do I have the plot right?

The show is really good, but it’s pissing me off that it’s being used as a platform for propaganda. One scene has a buncha kids in a gay pride decorated amusement park. There are “neo-Nazis” in almost every scene.

You know they are portraying Homelander as Hitler, right? Notice how Liberty, or whatever her name is, worships him? And anything symbolic of America is tied to racism and sexist. Gunpowder, Homelander, liberty, and Soldier Boy…all racist sexist pigs

The writer is of course a tribe member.

In addition, comic book writers I've liked, also tribal, compare superheroes to Nazism, which is what The Boys is about.

Meanwhile, Superman was actually created to counter Nazi ideas about what a good person is. He was created by jews and Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were jews...so we have the usual crowd of insane people taking a crap on everything.

The show and original comic are tribal propaganda which is why Homelander is Blonde, etc.
