π΅ How are you doing, misc? π
It's Friday night here.
I've just finished my first week of RTO (return to office).
I wake up at 5:00 in the morning, start working at 7:00 till 16:00, get home at 17:00+ watch Prime Vids drinking sake and go to bed at around 9:30.
Seeing my close friends at work and enjoying their company, this was the best week in the last two years (WFH).
******************
Still can't browse misc much, but I don't want to waste good reps every day.
So whoever posts a good one that makes me smile might get repped.
Anyway, have a nice weekend misc!! I missed you all.

- Your ugly baby gorilla, Kaz.

Doing well on my end of the planet. Woke up at 4:55am naturally this morning. Gonna do a lot today, mostly outdoors landscaping stuff. Going to a party over the weekend and bottling my hefeweizen I brewed last month while simultaneously brewing my yearly Vienna lager
I'd love to brew Sake. That's on my list! It's hard to find koji here, though.
Hope you have a great weekend.

das it Kaz mane
I'm set to return to office full time in September, now only able to go once in a while (company building has been in renovation for the past 2 years so only limited capacity at the moment but it should be finished by September)
don't like WFH at all, prefer to go to the office

I had the worse shift Iβve had in decades. Up at 5 am , work at 7 am, got home after dodging animals on the highway at 1045 pm . Was a long day lol .
Watched YouTube for a few hours to wind down , then woke up at noon when someone phoned me .
I had to work on lines that are normally accessible via bucket truck, but had to use a 32β ladder .
I have always been able to throw around a 28β ladder ,but find a 32 is a bear to pack around the forest and erect .
Anyways survived I think , but still waiting for a stroke

For context , the dogs on these ladder were jammed , and Iβm trying to figure out wtf is wrong .
The ladder is laying against the pole unextended , and Iβm trying to hold the phone with one hand and record with the other as I pull up on the rope .
Well the top of the ladder comes off the pole and timber , all the while the bottom of the ladder bucks up in the air and hits my arm causing my phone to go for a ride

Decided to take a rest day today for the first time in at least two weeks. And have been doing intense cardio basically every day. Starting to feel pretty juicy for the first time in about 6 months, which is good. But I still have kind of a belly and need to get rid of it asap.

I'm good! Especially since it's Friday night and no work for 2 days. That's great you're enjoying being back at work. We have to go in 1-2 days a week and I hate it. I love working from home.
No travel time and being able to get stuff done on my lunch break. Plus being here with my old doggo.

I've been jogging during lunch break so that's the one thing about WFH I will miss.
I watch Prime Vids during the ride on a commuter train.

I love you man.
I'm glad that you were able to go back to work and see some friends.
I envy a lot of WFH people, but I can see it might get boring.
My oldest is preparing for college and I have a lot of other things on my mind constantly. I haven't been sleeping well in general. I try to do breathing exercises to relax which helps somewhat.

It seems we need the right amount of stress to feel alive.
On the other hand, you need less stress in order to see your future grandchildren's faces.
Do not forget to take care of yourself, my friend because your family will need you for a very long time.

Left a couple hours early on Friday. Got to the gym like two hours early. Going to spend some time with my dad today. All good besides my microwave breaking and sump pump failing last week. Think a jogger I work with stole my nice box cutter knife but go figure joggers gonna jog and I ain't even trying to be racist.

Just kidding.
Spoiler!
Kinda just kidding. We've both been married a long time.

Edit: Good morning, Kaz!
