how to sport a long hair without looking like a twink fağgot?

My hair has been short ever since I joined army. Kept that way even after leaving.

Anyways I checked myself with long hear on that Faceapp app and it looked good and decided I might aswell try it while I still have hair.

Asking cuz years ago I went to a bar with a buddy to drink (he had long hair) then some gypsy kid with roses approached and asked me that "if I want to buy a rose for my beautiful gf" lmao. Then my bro shoed the gypsy away and next day went to a barber and got a buzz cut.

If you're white you better have some Viking physical characteristics. Big, tall, strong facial features, maybe a beard if it suits you, etc.

Easiest way to look half-decent as a dude with long hair is to just look primal.

My skin is white. Genetically half white but hair is dark. Facial features are ok I guess: high cheekbones, double jaw

Also I cant grow a beard cuz of job

Beard isn't completely necessary.

'Pretty-boy' long hair styles only work for a tiny segment of dudes imo. Just avoid looking too "pristine" and you should be fine.

The awkward phase between short hair (where you are now) and actual long hair is tough, OP. Be prepared for it.

How long are you thinking when you say you want to try long hair?

Dunno bruh. Not sure if rocking long silky hair is particularly masculine.

Ive heard of the awkward look thing. Not looking bad now. Been letting it grow since december. Will probably wear a cap or something if I start to look like wolverine

it also depends on your hair color. blonde or light brown = kinda feminine NGL.

dark brown or black = much better for a guy. especially for long hair.

also keep it that medium long length like heath ledger or keep it from hiding your facial features too much.

long hair makes your face look rounder/softer and hides your jaw or cheekbones if you have good ones. DFS.

also this. full length isn't necessary either. just a good length of trimmed stubble or 5 o'clock shadow.

expect it to takeat least2 years from a buzzcut to have some actual decent length

while it will look long in the back the frontside will need additional lenght in order to "bridge the gap" because of implantation

currently have hair to my shoulder blades and beard to my chest

be prepared to being called Jezus lol

The worst part is making the transition from "short hair" to "long hair" because there is going to be a 2-4 month period of "in-between hair" where you basically look like a lesbian but you can't but it because then you're back to where you started.
