1. You don't need a college education.

2. Guns should be banned.

3. The US should fall.

are those the claims you held that were wrong, or are those the corrected versions?

more importantly, who are you and why is your opinion important?

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

1. College - I avoided college because I thought I could do it on my own. Of course it was possible, but the real reason was because I didn't like school, did terribly in HS, so I ended up holding a grudge against education. But during my time out of school, I was always active in learning on my own.

2. I thought guns should be banned because its obvious that the weapon is an efficient killer. But hearing both sides of the argument and seeing the bigger picture, guns aint so bad. Although I still think more can be done.

3. US should fall - not all white peepo are bad, lol.

4. Elon - I thought this guy was hellbent on stealing as much money as he can from the gov. Although I think he did get alot of government funding, EV's may be the way to go.

not that my opinion matters, but good on you man. this is a real human post.

Knowing that we (our ideas) are wrong, and that we are not our ideas is liberating. We don’t have to identify with things.

good for you man. srs.

this **** is hard and most people would rather not.

the context of the issue is irrelevant. you are doing much more important work here than any of these issue. you are growing and showing other people how to do it.

Can relate. I had the same exact attitude towards education. High school was a fukin joke. I showed up, did well without even trying and pretty much slept in every class because it wasn’t interesting or challenging at all. To this day I sometimes wish I dropped out of high school, got my GED and put together a solid plan for my future that included higher education.

Anyway I was enrolled in community college after graduating high school because that’s what you were “supposed” to do, but I never really enjoyed school. Still, I had a deep interest in urban design, development, zoning, architecture, statistics, demographics, etc. and would independently study these topics thoroughly in my free time. Figured I’d shoot for becoming an urban planner.

Then I failed to get approved for FAFSA due to a family dispute. Really that was an excuse because I never investigated other means to pay for school, but I digress. Dropped out before the first semester even started. Said fuk it, I’ll succeed on my own without debt. Hated classroom settings anyway. Worked some bullchit jobs. Started my own business online that was just starting to take off before Covid and cash flow problems killed it. Still didn’t give a fuk because in my early 20s most of my friends who got a degree were working the same chit jobs I was.

Now I’m approaching my late 20s seeing these same friends land well paying jobs and finally starting their careers. Meanwhile I have basically no marketable skills, realizing I really should’ve just sucked it up and went to college by any means necessary, because when I say it’s a BITCH to get a decent paying job with just that high school diploma on my resume, 99% of applications get rejected immediately. Stuck making $35k as a glorified paper pusher with no idea where to go from here.
