Never forget it's culture and not necessarily skin color/race. Each culture has their own mores and values. Some mix like oil and water. I knew a bunch of 'white' people from eastern europe that moved into our small neighborhood when I was a kid that were kind of weird and did questionable things. One of them made moonshine in his yard cuz that's what he did 'back home' although it was illegal and a definite fire hazard. Stuff like that.

Lots of Haitian families would come to Montreal and let the apartment go to ruin because they basically lived in squalor back home. Completely infested with cockroaches and they didn't care. Business as usual.
