They also love a church massacre scene.

The creators have confessed to attacking political topics through the show. How about THEIR topics, there is plenty they can create satire on too.

They're celebrating it in this twitter post and all the leftist types are celebrating it in the comments. I used to think the show was a mans show but seems its the usual liberal, hollywood, agenda driven, brainwashing **** again. Basically the opposite of what the miscs mentality is all about.

this season seems far darker than the last - homelander is the best villain on tv currently

the deep eating his friend somehow was more unsettling to me than the antman in the butt scene.

and they made it look like his cocaptain of the team, has slept with everyone on the stage in the final episode. hughie is going to be sad his gf is a sloot

Finally watched ep 3. god damn this is the best show on tv by far.


I feel like I am one of very few that actually like the weekly releases. Able to appreciate it more, and I really don't need to watch that much tv.

Agreed. Didn’t care for season two as much. Almost stopped watching it until I gave S3 Ep 1 a chance and was hooked again. There is some interesting character development and new scenarios that spiced it up

I appreciated that Hughie found out what he did at the end of ep1 and they didn't drag it out across half the season.

New ep finally dropped, thought it was pretty dope. Really liked how several major events happened during a single episode. Didn't expect the one with Vic and Stan aaand the ending with HL and Starlight.

What's the concensus in the thread anyway? Are we using spoiler tags?

Also lol'd at this part, from the interview with HL. They really went there.

Ep4 impressions with tons of spoilers.


Spoiler!

- Vicky backstabbing Edgar came out of the blue and felt a bit rushed, especially with HL saying that Edgar is out of the game and Edgar saying that Vought belongs to HL now. The back and forth between them was great, especially Edgar's last stab at him. Curious how things will turn out for HL after Edgar told him that there is nobody else to cover for him.

- A Train has a lengthy list of ******* moves, but his latest betrayal just cemented him as a fgt. With his heart being a ticking time bomb I believe there's a chance he'll die soon

- same with Maeve on the probably dying part, that sword training scene felt like a giveawaySpoiler!
in the comics she attacks HL with a "prop" sword which instantly shatters and HL just brutally murders and decapitates her


- liked that the Homelight crap was quickly discussed by Hughie and Annie, hopefully it won't be dragged out as some gay love drama

- Jamie was a funny reference to the comics, didn't see the supe murderrodent part coming

- Kimiko was hot as fuk in her hooker set, jfc at that dildo slaughter session

- I understood what they're trying to do with the group dynamics among The Boys, but Butcher's total dikishness in the end felt a bit forced. Maybe it's a side effect of the V24, we've seen what it did to Hughie, who after a life of being a powerless wimp now feels a high and completely ignores everyone else

- SB is back, question is whether his dampening ray is his own original power or the Russkies tampered with him

- curious to see what the effect of SB's bailout will be. After all they have left Hughie's cast with Homelander's signature at a busted Russian military lab with tons of dead Russians, some of whom were killed by Homelander style eye beams. For one, it could lead to quite some tensions between the US and Russia, but also Homelander would be instantly tipped off on the culprits if word gets out about the cast. Oh and of course Hughie's broken arm is suddenly healed now.

All in all a pretty solid episode, looking forward to the next one.

I finally watched the first three episodes.

The giant CGI penis was gross.

It's odd how it would be porn if it was a vagina but not porn if it's a penis. The can show full frontal nudity for males but they can't show a vulva in films.

Very odd and perverted.

However, the shows so far are very good.

I continue to see Homelander as a sad character and I sort of wish he would kill everyone can just be a superhero like he wants to.

I also hope Jenson Ackles has a bigger part because he was automatically interesting in what I saw so far.

The Asian girl is genuinely beautiful but that has nothing to do with the story. If I knew her in real life, I would be mighty interested.

It really is head and shoulders above S2, I'm surprised they managed to up the quality back to S1 levels.

So is the implication that the weapon for killing Homelander doesn't actually exist? Since Soldier Boy was alive all along?
