As a Jets fan I've def been rooting for the Rangers heheh thanks for that 1st round pick for Copp that was going to be a 2nd rounder. He's a very underrated player though. Huge Trouba fan though I hope they go all the way...Plus I've always liked them regardless...my late uncle was NYPD back in the 80's, and at least got to see Rangers lift the cup in 94.

Mike Smith is the weirdest goalie I've ever seen. You never know what you're going to get from this guy...


He makes the most insane saves, and is the best goalie at handling the puck, but at anytime he can give up a soft soft goal like tonight vs JT Compher.

Even worse it was right after Oilers hit the post on the power play as it was expiring. Talk about a dagger.

Lol JT was even surprised himself it went in he looked at Smith like "Ah damn he saved it.......wait a min goal???" Loool

If the oilers were less retarded they'd have listened to me and played Koskinen. If it was the Blues and Winnington lost 2 in a row with those stats they'd have gone with Husso and vice versa to change the momentum.

Also, the West's goaltending is absolutley chit. Good luck with that in the finals. They let Kadri take out the only goaltender worth the finals for the West.

Problem with Koskinen is when he’s off he’s just as bad if not worse than mike smith. He hasn’t looked great for a while now.

Sigh. Being an oilers fan takes dedication. Not sure there’s many teams in any league with this much misery in the last 20 years.

Yeah I was rooting for them, but that Palat goal destroyed them indeed could've been up 3-0, and it would've been a wrap. Now Vasi is dialed in anyways, was a great run for the Rags really bright future ahead, and thanks for the 1st round pick for Copp

Agreed Colorado would def rather play the Rangers especially since TB will probably have Brayden Point back soon. Colorado can score at will though easily, but now its against Vasi, and not Mike Smith lmao.

Would be a great Stanley Cup Final...The last 2 have been pretty bad. Dallas and Montreal? just lol.

End of the 1st period. Avs up 3 - 1.

Was worried the Avs might be rusty after the layoff. They've got a lot of jump, though. Both teams with some dangerous/sloppy puck handling at times. Could be worse for Tampa . . . Avs had a few other really good chances.

Gonna be a good game and series. Tampa might be feeling the altitude a bit already after their tough last series and short rest.

Kuemper is proving everyone right who was worried about him going into the playoffs. If the Avs had a Tier 1 goalie, they would be scary.

Typical game 1 for the Bolts..hate it as they always take it as a "feeling out" game but apparently it works..We shall def see in Game 2 where this series is going...I don't see Vasy giving up those softees again but Col is a non stop buzzsaw. I think its going 7 Hopefully a GOAT series ahead
