ITT: Friday afternoon drink. Anyone else having a drink today?

Nice weather out. Perfect time of year where she's not too hot. Sitting in the sun after doing some chores.



Doppel-Hirsch Doppelbock. Never had this one before. I haven't had that many doppelbocks overall. They're more of a cooler weather lager, like fall or winter, but the 7.6% alcohol hit nice. There's a lot of raisiny, toasty, caramel flavors. It's really nice but I think I'd get a bit tired of that after 1 or 2. I might brew one of these for the winter. I have a vienna lager currently fermenting in my lager fridge.

Currently having a sam adam's boston lager, definitely one of my favorite mass-produced lagers. It's a really well-made Americanized Vienna lager. Goes down nice and smooth.

We've got company coming over tonight just for a chill dinner/hang out. I've got an IPA and a Double IPA on deck from a brewer called Saint Arnold - haven't tried either of them, or anything from this brewer. Will see how it is, am excited.
