The only women I've dated, I've met through school, work, acquaintances, and that sort of thing. Dating apps are just garbage for me. Since I am out of school, work is full of single mothers (lol) and I'm old enough to where everyone is already married OR would set me up with some shrew who hates men cuz still not married and it's men's fault. My only option is just roll the dice and meet women in any random public place. The problem I encounter is it seems like most women either rarely leave the house in the first place, and when they do they don't want anyone talking to them. People just seem really closed off in general.

How did it get like this? Millions of people just looking at screens all day and dating profiles lmao. Like what in the world happened?

I have been interested in dating sites since Match.com came out just because it's fun to see what people write. There were also sites that tried to use psychological profiles to match people and I would fill them out just to see what happened.

I am not religious and that would always get me weird matches, but I still thought it was fun.

Then, I was in a long and serious relationship and so I didn't look at that stuff.

After that ended I met two different women. One was a redhead who was shocked that I actually looked like my pictures which was amusing. However, she also looked like hers but her head was enormous! So, I was slightly disturbed.

Normally, if I met her just by chance I would probably not think her head was odd but since her pics seemed normal her overall size shocked me.

The second get I mentioned before and we met at this great restaurant and had a great convo. She happened to be a social worker and was a very pretty blonde but a bit overweight. That didn't bother me but I just had no feelings. I am not interested in sex with women I don't care about so she was a pretty girl who made me feel about the same as if I was with a man.

In the past I would have loved to try something like eharmony that tries to link you with a psychologically compatible person, but I never got around to that. All of the gfs I've had look totally different but they were all cute to me. Eharmony did not let you see the person until you really got to know them.

I would not like developing a relationship with someone I thought unpleasant looking, so that was another negative.
