Home Gym Setups

Ok bros my muscles have atrophied since covid and I refuse to get jabbed or wear a mask whilst doing intensive exercise (all gyms around me require this even still, unlucky ik)
Anyways, I think its about goddamn time I invest some of my shekels into a home gym. I've been eyeing Bells of Steel for the past 2 weeks and it seems like they have really high quality stuff, I especially like their home gym builder as it seems to be the most reasonable. I'm going to try out the 5x5 program so the main things i'm thinking are; Power Rack, Barbell, Bench, Plates, and ground tiles. Might also add a dip extension for the power rack
Thoughts ? Recommendations ? Anybody have experience with Bells of Steel products ? Would love to see your current setups

I once had a pair of dumbbells from them and the knurling was piss poor.

I'd look at fitness depot. I like their in house northern lights equipment. Solid stuff reasonably priced. They also offer 0% financing OAC

Used is a great option right now too. Prices are continuing to drop and there aren't buyers for the big packages guys are trying to sell. I'd poke around and offer 70% of asking. You'll probably save a nice wad or come out with better quality equipment at the same price.

I've managed to get a decent amountof equipment in my tiny home gym. 10' x 14' room in my basement.

Floor is made from 4 horse stall mats.

Equipment:

Rogue Monster Rack with Spotter Arms, Monolift Attachments and Landmine 2.0
Rogue Monster Bench with Thompson Fat Pad
Rogue Monster Lite Rack with Spotter Arms
Rogue Utility Bench
Decline/FLat/Incline Adjustable Bench
Powertec Cable machine with Dual Pulleys (top and bottom) and numerous handles/bars, etc.
Rogue weight tree with 1,100 lbs of Olympic Plates
BAADASS adjustable dumbbells with 295lbs of Plates
Rogue Ohio Bar
York Power Bar
Texas Deadlift Bar
EliteFTS SS Yoke Bar
Rogue Squat Bar
Rogue MG3 Multi-Grip Bar
Rogue Curl Bar
Rogue Lat Pulldown Bar
M.A.G. narrow and medium pulldown bars
York tricep pressdown bar

I've been looking around local stuff, ******** marketplace, craigslist and most people are selling the most bootleg **** or marked up stuff I can get cheaper on amazon. Some dudes are even selling fuggin wooden power racks and other weird **** lmfao, like the whole purpose of steel is so it lasts long, doesnt rust and has resell value

brah I've got several Rogue pieces myself too.... their chit is solid AF.... you ain't never gonna have to worry about it

The gym I even have a membership at has tons of Rogue stuff too

I haven’t looked at prices in years, but check out titan power rack. Close holes to get the exact depth you need and a fraction of the price of a rogue. Mines bolted to the floor and has taken some serious weight. I also like my body solid equipment. Well built and reasonably priced. Both have held up well for over 5 years of consistent use

No pullups I do pulldowns instead.

No dips in about 25 years due to shoulder issues.

Rogue is the best ****, that's why I have so much of it.

Awesome, i'll try to get most of my equipment from them then. Prollem is their power rack is waay to fuggin big for my garage lol. hopefully the bells of steel residential one is decent or other

Titan is made in China.

Rogue is made is USA.

Of course rogue is better, but it’s diminishing returns. My titan has a racking capacity of 1650lbs and can hold over 6000lbs total. Rogue is complete over kill for +95% of people. I guess it’s cool to say you have rogue and looks shiny for pics.
