Nobody is in envy and WFHcels are getting let go at incredible rates. The truth is, if you are able to keep working from home. It most likely was a job that was already done that way. All the ****gets that went to WFH because of covid are about to get rekt when these companies start trimming fat.

Remember, ****** in India is only a phone call away and he does it WAY cheaper too.



Also, I was looking at Teslas a while back and your post had me curious, it would appear your statement of "chit resale" is not true. At least in my area.

I don't think WFH is going to be a long term thing. Sure some jobs will be but over time people will return to the office.

WFH will eventually change, but hybrid schedules are here to stay.

Before covid my company gave us 2 days WFH.

Bruh who wants to buy an electric vehicle with a battery that won't hold a charge anymore? Sure the liberal cucks will eat it up now, but once everyone realizes batteries are chit after 5 years, resale value will be down

What kind of job can you do from home that someone in India can’t?

Only ones that jump to me are the ones that require very high level communication skills with no accent because you’re constantly jumping on calls with clients. Or there’s still a requirement to attend local meetings, e.g real estate agent.

Other than that, all the anti-immigration miscers jfl. You don’t want immigration cos they taking all the jobs but then you open up your local job market to the entire world with absolutely no borders or requirements for proximity. How does that work?

Contracting Officer for the DoD - I assume it's fairly obvious why that wouldn't be outsourced to foreigners.

Hybrid would be a good balance to where you're productive but not dead tired by the end of the week from sleep deprivation. Fkn hate how inconvenient it is to resolve any issue apart from the most trivial ones over zoom/teams/etc.

Hybrid schedule is the goat.

Monday and Friday in the office.

Oh but every second Friday is an RDO.

So 3 days in the office a fortnight.

Schedule as many meetings/plan work for those days i'm in the office.

Most days at home so far I'm <2 hours of work a day.

And only year 3 into a 40 year program, won't even be too long before it's only 1 day a week in the office.

They fired a bunch of R&D + sales positions (6) without notice and now that I think of it all of them were the ones who worked from home.

Just lol at that boomer way of thinking.

My company sold their old offices and bought one that is 1/10th the size and just provides it as a space for when employees want to meet or if you feel like going into an office. There's like 25 desks with monitors & docks, 4 conference rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.

Do you have any idea how much money companies are saving by letting their employees work from home and downsizing office space while paying the employees the same? 80% of my company works from home across the US and the other 20% are in the field.

WFH will actually help the world out of this upcoming recession.

Companies can drastically cut overhead while still maintaining productivity.

Only a tiny fraction of businesses are as complex as designing electric vehicles and demand in-person work.

Most work is routine, mundane and highly reliant on processes and SOP's. Ideal for WFH.

And if you live in North America and think your WFH job is safe, it isn't.

Companies will be looking to replace you with lower cost labour in Eastern Europe and Asia.

The solution is to increase your skills, accreditation and value to your current employer.

I work with a ton of banglore assoicates and they are lazy AF and do everything last minute. I have to hold their hand through everything and they don't remember ****. I have clients saying they don't want to work with offshore resources.
