Imagine cutting 40 lbs and looking like an ethiopian (pics)

Stumbled across this MH article when looking for before and after cut pics.

This guy is a 49 yr old brit who lost 40 lbs. Looks like he had no regards for muscle and just went full noob with his cut, ended up looking like chit but cut. His bicep is probably 11 inches

Dude just looks like chit period, terrible genetics for muscle, terrible genetics for frame, terrible genetics for facial aesthetics, terrible genetics for aging.

He looks like the typical middle aged Brit.

At 49, unless he goes on TRT, then his results will always be limited in a short time frame. At least he's now got a decent starting point.

He actually wouldn't look that bad if he didn't have all that loose skin. Would his loose skin go away if he maintains this weight or is he too old for the loose skin to go away now?

100% this.

Not sure if you guys are serious or if social media has conditioned you to think that at 49 you'll be looking like the Rock.

The guy did well for his age

I'd also like to know because I have some wrinkly skin on my lower belly - when I bulk it fills out with fat but when I cut the fat goes and the wrinkles get worse. If I cut (or maintained) for long enough I wondered if the wrinkles would go, of if it's too late for me (I'm 41).

Who cares, still looks better than 95% of middle aged blokes. At 49 his test levels are gonna be much lower compared to a man 20-30 years younger.

He's probably been sedentary for most of his life too. It's extremely rare to see someone his age with a good physique anyway tbh.

If at least had some actual pecs and didn't have the loose skin, his physique would look decent.

I think his primary goal was loosing weight, not to look like some Instagram fitness model.

He looks much better now with the fat loss and visible abs.

Why you hating OP? He did very well considering his age. Much heavier systemically and looks better than most average plebs in that oldcel age range.

Imagine hating on someone who was fat and lazy but then at 50 found the courage to change his life and start putting in a ton of work to achieve a body 99.999% of men his age don't have.

Then imagine this hate is coming from a join date 2009 member of a bodybuilding forum. You should be banned for a week op.

First one is what he looks like 99.9% of the time though, second one is best case scenario.

No hate though, he has just massively improved his health. Also, like a lot of us who got started late after getting out of shape, this could just be the beginning for him and now that he has a taste for fitness could go on to make the gains.

I lost 100 lbs years ago if not more by just running. Looked emaciated. Could barely bench bar when I first started lifting and stopped running

Huge regret. Never again. Prioritize lifting crew. I look a lot better now but I can only imagine what I’d look like if I lifted and focused on nutrition and lost it slowly
