- small interior room if you can

- closet or bathroom are common options

- if you have a tile enclosure around your bathtub and a steel or cast iron tub you could climb in the tub and cover up with fluffy comforter/pillows or even a small mattress

Same. Has to be quite nearby and imminent and then I will listen/watch reports while hanging out near a closet or bath.

They usually pass by quickly.

I think that's multiple sirens overlapping. In my hood it sounds like a fire truck siren but lower pitch.
