I work as a content moderator in the Japanese market for a U.S.-based SNS company.

From time to time there are days I am exposed to too many graphic images like Violence and Suicide. Today was such a day. I got mentally so tired now I really need a good refreshment.

So I'm asking you to share heartwarming stories you know.

When I was putting myself through college, I was really struggling to make ends meet financially speaking. At some point, I was completely stressed out and didn't even have enough in my bank account to put gas in my car. One of my friends noticed how much I was struggling so he came to pick me up and we went to his girlfriend's cottage for the weekend and just sat by the lake and hung out together. He provided the beer, the food, the lodging, and never asked for anything in return. Never even brought it up. It was instinctual for him to just swing by and be there for me when I needed it.

That's a story that comes to mind right now. Hope others have similar stories because this place definitely needs more positivity and examples of all the good humans can do.

Alright, this is going to seem far fetched but it’s true. When I first became a Christian I would read my Bible like crazy. God spoke to me as I read His Word, just brining things to mind, & revealing stuff to me.(Yea..I know how that sounds) I always ate my lunch in my car back then, I was young working at a grocery store & would grab KFC snackers right next store. I only had a half-hour. One day as I’m going to get my lunch I hear God’s voice telling me to get on the freeway & drive south. I doubted my own thoughts, but it happens again, still I doubted, so the voice tells me again.....I finally decide to make the turn to drive onto the freeway & start cruising along. After a couple miles, I hear ..slow down and begin to pull over to the shoulder” (seriously) so I do, I then see an older couple outside of their car, maybe late 60’s/early 70’s. I get out and ask if they need help? They said they had been praying for someone to stop & help them. I ask what is the trouble, they were not sure of the issue, & me not being the most mechanically inclined did a quick look over their engine & couldn’t find anything wrong. I apologized that I couldn’t be of help, so they asked if I could drive them home & they would have their son get the car when he gets off work. Told them no problem. As I drove them home back north close to my work, the old lady just kept saying I was an angel sent to them. Told her no, I’m just a grocery store clerk.. dropped them off, said our goodbyes and made it back to work before lunch ended.

I’ve never doubted God’s voice after that day.

I was boarding an interstate flight and accidentally sat in the wrong seat. I was scrolling through ******** and on a whim looked up a page about my old high school, looked at a few profiles, then found this dude who I vaguely knew, hadn't talked to him in nearly 20 years. Saw he'd gotten into fitness with professional photos taken and stuff, looked pretty good. Thought to myself 'hmm, wonder where that dude is now'


I look up and see a guy coming down the aisle, approaches me and says 'think you're in my spot bro'. So I shift over one and he sits down. He has a mask on and I realize once he sits down it's that exact same dude. I kind of awkwardly ask him if he''s well, him, and tell him about the crazy coincidence. We shot the chit a bit and reminisced about funny high school stories.

I was a bit scared since there was crazy turbulence on my last flight, and this flight was smooth AF too.

I have a small one that I think is really sweetMy parents tried to get pregnant for 10 years, with my mom coming home daily in tears from her teaching job where she saw children every day with bruises from being beaten by their parents. Can you imagine? Wanting nothing more than to love a child and seeing them mistreated every day. They prayed and decided they could give a child a loving home through adoption. It's not uncommon for prospective parents to wait years until they get a baby, so they refused to be the people who set up a nursery full of anticipation and crushed dreams. They just prayed that G-d would send them a child to love when His timing was right.

They found an agency and did the home visits and were approved, but knew they would likely have to wait for years. But, the next day, my Mom pulled into the driveway after school and my father was building a crib in the garage. She knew what it meant, and they picked me up the next day. A young lady had chosen them because my Father had a good job and my mother looked a bit like her. It was a closed adoption, my parents never met the birth mother, but sent several photos of me in the first year. They never heard back.

I just sent my Dad a Father's Day playlist I made for him and he texted me that he was so grateful that G-d chose him to be my Father. My family means the world to me and I am so thankful.
