I Was Threatened With Getting Stabbed Today

I am acting Head Teacher of Special Ed at my high school. Today, while on class, a teacher's aide comes and gets me and tells that a kid in the unit (juvenile delinquent, has been to juvie, is in the behaviour class) was downstairs.

He wanted her to call his father asking for money to buy food. She could not reach the father and then he started whining he was hungry ( he is 14/15). I go downstairs, he had his scooter with him. As soon as he sees me, he tells me to fuk off (The week prior I kicked him out of the staffroom because he was carrying on like an idiot while making himself a tea, so I knew he would be escalated when he saw me), he says he will throw the scooter at my head and that he will bash me...this kid is about 4 foot nothing and probably weighs around 40kgs, I can't help but look bored/dismissive of his threats and he took this as me laughing at him. He carries on, and then says he will stab me. He says this many times, then he says he will go home, get a knife come back and stab me, and that he has stabbed people before, etc. He also calls me a black c*nt (I am not black, I am of South American origin, the kid himself is Australian Aboriginal) and an Asian pr1ck (also not Asian, but he's not the brightest kid). A couple of other aides come over, take him inside the staff room and make him toast.

I talk to the Deputy Principal and we call the adult that he is staying with (not his mum, at a friend's house). She called him a gronk and picks him up, and takes him home.

Later on I reach his father, and I talk with him about what happened (he was working away). He'll probably get a flogging at home.

The DP decided to suspend him for 5 days....pretty bloody short, if you ask me, he (and others like him) are the type to carry knives with them.

Hey, do you live in Australia's Northern Territory, per chance?

I was riding a bike last week around 2am, when two Aborigine guys spring out from behind a bush, clad in bandanas, and one of them runs at me perpendicularly in an attempt to clothesline me off the bike. Fcking intense, some quick skills saved me; just zigzagged away at the last second.

I've been threatened with a stabbing a few times before. Once was some meth head idiot on a bus who was just flexing, the other was when I got jumped late at night and the dude definitely could have had a knife on him. That chit was legit scary, no one around to help me, could have died.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

No, regional NSW...

Not scared, just frustrated and angry that you can't give these little shyts a good hiding.

His father told me to call the cops on him next time.

This post reads strangely.

Should have just called the cops on him. He's going to be in prison anyway.

It's all this wishy-washy new age bs way of enabling these little c*nts to get away with this. Plus, I don't think the school wants to get cops involved. My school is not unique and we've had incidents previously. One of the reasons why there is a teacher shortage. Who wants to teach in this kind of environment, where there is such a lack of support and consequences?

I should have become an engineer.

Him and his friends have been. Stealing cars and taking them for joyrides, stealing motorbikes and riding them around, etc. Gotta protect their identities though, and they're just given a slap on the wrist, told not to do it again, and out they go again.

Yep, zero consequences until 18 and then suddenly Bam! into a real prison. Stupid system but every time a kid gets locked up for being a deliquent there's questions in Parliament. Tough to find a solution because without functional parents, you need a ridiculously expensive social worker network.
"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."
