There's no redemption arc that would make sense and be cool with the previous 8 seasons without getting all of the original cast back so it just doesn't make sense. At the minimum this show (if it happens) would need Sansa, Bran, Tyrion (lol at that happening), and at least a few other side characters to happen, and they just wouldn't do it. No one wants to see Jon Snow in the north messing around without Rose Leslie.

-She asks him “what did you see on the other side?”
-He saw seasons 7 and 8

Who the fuk cares? They ruined the franchise already. Also Kit Harrington seems like a nice guy and all but he plays Jon Snow, who is supposed to be the world's most charismatic leader based on how the ploy unfolds, like a mopey teenager. He and the bint playing Danaerys were some of the weakest actors in the show but up to the last couple of seasons they were rescued by the writing and supporting cast.

They keep doing all these spinoffs to try to quell the vitriol response to the final season.

I don't get why they don't just admit the writers fcked up and reshoot the last final season. Could also set up all the spinoffs they're planning.

Either way though... let's be honest. Jon Snow was one of the, if not the, best character and deserved a better ending.... so I'm all for this. If they mess it up, no one is surprised.
If they do great, all the better.

Didn't he literally leave Westeros with the wildlings in the last episode? What kind of story do they even have left for him unless they plan to undo the absolute **** hole of a plot in season 8 of GoT.

I hope it will be good, but it feels like there's no story to tell and it would just be a cash grab like every other spinoff nowadays
