Not quite. Even if federal and state taxes went to $0 you'd still be over $4 in most places.

Distribution companies control the distribution of refined products into the market. Just LMAO at thinking the government controls how these companies operate their businesses in a capitalist country.

Yea.....that's the point. It's ridiculous that they are choosing right now to push that chit when less then 1% of cars on the road are EV's and people are "poorer" than they've been in a long time.

It's not the time to make this push. They're setting people up to fail.....putting them in a position to where they have to make a choice that they literally cant make.....and even if they could...lets say 20% of the market went out to buy an EV....guess what, they're not there and even if they were, the grid couldn't handle the power requirements to charge them.

What a fukking joke.....it's almost like they're doing it on purpose.

Policy can definitely affect how they run their business - especially when it's an administration that is a strong advocate of the "Green Agenda" and has demonstrated a willingness to do things like use an EO to cancel a major pipeline - shyt like that makes oil companies less eager to invest in drilling/exploration/operations/infrastructure/etc.
