Benefits of Mushrooms (srs)
Been down a path of researching all sorts of mushroom strains. The health benefits (physically and mentally) are changing the mental health industry. Check out some of these:
1. Chaga mushroom
(Inonotus obliquus)
- Chaga is an adaptogen, so it helps your body naturally adapt to occasional stress.*
- It’s traditionally used to support the skin, immune system, healthy digestion, and the body's natural cleansing processes.*
- Fun fact: Chaga is known as “the king of mushrooms.” (Reishi is the queen.)
2. Cordyceps mushroom
(Cordyceps militaris)
- Cordyceps is an adaptogen, meaning it supports a healthy response to occasional stress, as well as supporting energy and stamina.*
- This ‘shroom is traditionally used to support healthy stamina and energy levels (including at the cellular level), lung health, sexual health, and kidney health.*
- It’s also traditionally used in TCM to support Qi (energy).*
- Fun fact: We started the largest Cordyceps mushroom farm in the Americas — and the only one that was Certified Organic!
3. Lion’s Mane mushroom
(Hericium erinaceus)
- Lion’s Mane is traditionally used to support memory and cognitive function.*
- It also traditionally used to support the digestive system.*
- This mushroom offers nourishment for the brain and supports the production of nerve growth factor.*
- Fun fact: Lion’s Mane has many fun names, like Pom Pom Mushroom, Monkey Head Mushroom, and Brain Mushroom!
4. Maitake mushroom
(Grifola frondosa)
- Maitake is traditionally used to support nervous system health, healthy digestive function, immune health, and cardiovascular health.*
- It also supports liver health and healthy blood sugar levels already within normal ranges.*
- Fun fact: These mushrooms are known as dancing mushrooms or Hen of the Woods.
5. Meshima mushroom
(Phellinus linteus)
- Meshima is traditionally used to support women's health, healthy immune function, and cellular health.*
- Fun fact: Meshima is also known as “black hoof mushroom” — thanks to its close resemblance to a hoof!
6. Poria Cocos mushroom
(Wolfiporia extensa)
- Poria Cocos is traditionally used to promote your bodies natural transition to a healthy nights sleep, normal and healthy hydration levels, and relaxation, nervous system health and memory, and normal stomach function.*
- It promotes healthy immune function.*
- It is traditionally used for occasional restlessness and to promote healthy sleep.*
- Fun fact: Poria Cocos actually grows underground, like a tuber — and it was used as food during lean times by Native Americans.
7. Reishi mushroom
(Ganoderma lucidum)
- Reishi is an adaptogenic mushroom. It helps support your body’s natural occasional stress response.*
- It’s traditionally used to support the immune, cardiovascular, and nervous systems; liver and kidney health; and healthy sleep and relaxation.*
- It also promotes well-being during seasonal changes and offers support to help you stay active for the long term.*

Used lion mane for a while, altho i believe it helps. you gotta becareful to watch how it is made. 80% of the supplements mushroom supplements are just grain fillers.
there are a few brands like ''oriveda'' that are top quality, however it does get expensensive.
Top quality lion mane, you can actulay see the difference below, the cheap ones of other brands only have beta glucanen in it.
120 v-caps @ 450 mg
(alcohol extract)
≥ 7 % Terpenen
≥ 5 % Erinacines
> 5 % Beta-Glucanen
> 2 % Polyfenolen
180 v-caps @ 300 mg
(1:1 water extract)
≥ 2.5 % Terpenen
≥ 0.6 % Hericenones
> 30 % Beta-glucanen

mushrooms are interesting because its the only fungus we can really eat to my knowledge. not sure how well study they are in the human body but who knows 100 years from now we may feel there consumption is just as critical as say vegetables to human health.
I dont give a f*ck about a b*tch on the internet

Short and sweet:
Certain mushrooms grow on chit. The animals we hunted took chits. Mushrooms were around. These specific mushrooms are proven to increase cognitive ability by "opening" neural pathways. Briefly, information in our brain in the form of bio-electricity and chemicals takes the path of least resistance. While developing a new skill, or learning a concept, it takes repetition in order for our brains to find the pathway it likes. Once that happens, the information is committed to memory. This physical structure of the brain is a contributing factor to biases and why things seem familiar. The information continues to be processed in the same way and once it is learned, it is somewhat difficult to undo. It is possible though. A concept known as neuroplacity is the process of our brains physically changing to adapt to new information and process it in different ways. This has been shown to do things like cure addition. (side note, epigenetics is the process of passing these new traits, which we were not born with, onto our children for up to 5 generations).
As stated, the chemicals in certain mushrooms release our brains from this strict method of information processing and our brains light up. This is why things seem unfamiliar, because the information is being processed differently.
With easy access to these types of fungi due to hunting/gathering habits, it is easy to believe they did help us advance mentally.

Portobello mushrooms: Portobellos are an excellent source of riboflavin (also known as vitamin B2), a vitamin that is important for energy production because it helps the body break down carbohydrates into sugar for fuel. Portobellos are also a good source of selenium.
