Friday afternoon - watcha drinking? (happy weekend boyos)

It's nice being able to get classic Californian beers even up here in the great white north.

Nothing yet. I’ll probably have a barleywine later. I’m not a fan of Sierra Nevada. They have a massive location in Asheville I’ve been to a few times and the beer tastes watery now for some reason. The food they have is good though. And the brewery itself is a great place to visit.

I heard about their NC brewery. It's too bad about the beer not being up to par there. I actually have a barleywine sitting in my fridge. A local brewery here brews a really nice one as a seasonal winter release. I'm keeping it for next winter. They age really nicely.

Miring the sirrrea Nevada pale ale. Used to be my go to beer for a long time but my tastes have changed now. I do pick up a 6 pack once in awhile. I do miss their tropical IPA - that was a great tasting beer.

I have my usual Pilsners in the beer fridge - will get to the later this evening after taking care of a few errands.
