Software tradies maybe. Layoffs left and right for big apps and tech companies.

I doubt it, might be slow work but the rates are increasing. Probably can get one job to payout what 4 jobs would payout.

If anyone is going to cause it, it's them. srs.

Here in Virginia they've been gouging the fuark out of everyone and doing half ass jobs.

Just got a quote for $11k for a 200' wooden privacy fence. ded srs.

Also had a drywall guy recently screw the fook out of me. He just covered everything in plaster when he was supposed to replace rotted drywall. Chit started to come down after a couple of months.

Roof tradie didn't replace skylight flashing and it started leaking after 3 months.

Had some brick tradie try to charge me $11k to repoint my front stairs.

It's just been a chitshow recently. Would be great to see them come back to earth.

Fuk 11k for a fence? Tell them you want a fence, not a fuking border wall to keep Mexicans out.

That is literally robbing at gun point Right there.

Building seems to be going like crazy around here. People are moving here trying to flee libtarded areas. I have a neighbor who moved from Connecticut last year. Solid conservative guy who just got tired of the bull****.

Not sure what trades the OP is referring to. Manufacturing is still going strong also.

the leaking sky light... see this happen to lots of people who get new roofs that have them, i think its just a common thing that you dont know if it leaks until it does, then they have to come back

It’s already happening. New home building starts are down 16% in May alone. Just wait until they raise interest rates again to 3% and it will tank the market.
