Umbrella Academy is so gay, it's heinous. I watched a couple of episodes and it's like a mentally disorganized gay guy made it.

The CW show Legends of Tomorrow started as a more fun Dr Who then turned into the same kind of confused mess, and the dude that makes that was gay.

Stranger Things had very little happen and the evil being guy was kind of lame. The other dimension contained what, only him?

It was not a very complex explanation for something so vast.

Last 2 episodes of Stranger things were kind of ****. I really liked the rest of the season when the characters were split up and it was plot driven. Once it became about the characters it fell off a cliff. The characters themselves aren't the least bit interesting and once it becomes about them you realize how bad the acting is.

the story was pretty good this season I thought, bringing back the doctors and the dude from GoT, didn't like the little black girl, but the rest played a good part.

I had trouble looking at the character who was the "heavy metal" kid who looked like Robert Downey Jr!!!

It looked like one of those deep fake videos with Downey's face pasted over someone.

In addition, the actor is like 30!

Several of the actors are way older than high school including having bags under their eyes.

Very off show.

I like Umbrella Academy in general, but they could've translated it better to TV imo

the comics are full blown weird and goofy while the series just stays somewhere in between

but overall it's still pretty good especially compared to other chit coming out nowadays

haven't seen the conclusion to Stranger Things but the first part of season 4 was pretty solid as well imo, better than the previous season in any case

Watched S1 ofStranger Things, was aight but didn't feel the need to see another season. Apparently S4 is much better than S2 and S3 but I'm not going to watch of any of them to find out.

I'd had enough ofUmbrella Academyby end S2. Won't be watching S3. Best thing about the show was the snarky teleporting 100 year old child, oh and I guess the black chick was pretty easy on the eyes.

BothBarryandBetter Call Saul absolutely chit on these shows, highly recommend.

I mainly like the comics since they're plain weird but in an interesting way, the series doesn't really succeed in translating this to the screen that well though

but the core idea and some elements from the world are still there, and there are some redeeming factors that still make it enjoyable

also some solid actors like Robert Sheehan but the kid playing Five really surprised me in a positive way, he really delivers

Also that one kid, Will or whatever, the one who looked like he was going to cry in every scene…. He’s a terrible actor. I cringed any time he had lines. Even if you want to make every character gay at least have enough self respect to make sure they can at least act.

Back in the early 90s the Doom Parole comic was weird and funny to read. I watched a little of the TV show and there's no way to capture the visuals from the comics on a TV show. Plus writing can be much funnier than verbal comments in a show.

Doom Patrol was purposely absurd and not meant to be a story even though it was based on some existing serious characters. I have no idea if that comic still exists.

imo they were better actors when they were younger. idk maybe they are overthinking it, maybe trying too hard or something
