Why do ethnicities have different smells to them?

You all know what I'm talking about.

Also do white people have a smell? We might but because I'm white I don't actually smell it? And I'm not talking about body odor here. Nor am I talking old people smell. Old white people definitely have a smell too. Ethnics each have their own unique smell to them even when showering and wearing proper deodorant though. Is there a white person smell that I'm oblivious to? Most of them just seem unscented to me.

It’s more about hygiene if you ever played sports there’s tons of white guys who smell horrible. The only ethnicity I can say smell complete different from others are blacks no racism. But every ethnicity has a stinky person.

I'd assume the foods they eat tend to dictate their smell to an extent. For example, a Chinse person tends to eat a lot of garlic which is of course very healthy but it does give off a smell to their cloths, household and even skin/hair.

Most people grew up around a lot of whites so if there is a smell we’re accustomed to it. I’d say there’s a distinct odor from low class whites though, and I don’t mean the cigs and cheap beer.

Yuppies and higher just smell clean, aka usually no smell.

A lot of ethnic people cook with a lot of seasoning. That’s where a large portion of the smell comes from. As white people generally cook bland (in before top chefs are white, I mean on average), there’s no spices to affect their odor.

I’m with you on old peoples smell. It’s like old clothes or something. Also infants smell good, in a way that instinctually makes us want to protect them.

Their diet plays a big part plus their lotions and hygiene products. most people from other ethnicities will use different scents and products than you are used to.

My brothers in the military, says there are distinct BO smells for all races srs

The main one I remember is that the black soldiers have an onion like underarm smell. Can confirm, when we blacks get musty we smell like onions. The white musty smell most similarly resembles a strong mildew in my experience. It is just genetics

Black peepo & Indians on the other hand, whew lad

98% of them you can smell from 5 feet away even after a shower, not sure how to describe it other than putrid natural musk(B.O.)

Find a local school gym(no FBI) of a local povert- I mean lower incom- predominantly black peepo school & take a whiff; guarantee you'll start gagging

Black people have the most sweat glands.
White people have a medium amount.
Asian have the least number of sweat glands.

The more sweat you have the more bacteria you are going to have eating it and so your body will smell more. Body odor is typically the waste product of bacteria.

The one group mentioned smells like feces, onions, and fermented Italian salami mixed together. That's just a natural smell.

Other groups that eat a lot of garlic and spices might smell like that, but that's diet, not a natural smell.

I have been told I smell like a hot rock.

I work with nearly all black people for decades now, and the smell is natural and high class nice people can have it, men and women.

Anyone can stink tho. Just depends on hygiene/clean clothes

I am white, half Italian and half British Isles mix & French/German. Having wrestling and boxed since I was a kid, I’ve definitely been able to smell various people of various races.

I noticed that Italians have a body odor that is similar to onions. Black people smell like a gorilla cage at the zoo, that’s not a racist comment. That is genuinely the smell I associate with blacks when they stink in the summer or during a workout when they aren’t wearing enough deodorant. Same thing with mixed race Puerto Ricans.

Indian people smell like their food like curry, I never noticed the scent of an Asian, an Amerindian kid and my wrestling team smelled the same as my type of body order and most other whites. Just a mix of natural body odor and deodorant. Not a strong smell.

Arabs seem to smell the same as whites but just a stronger version of that odor.

I heard black people say when white peoples hair gets wet we smell like wet dogs, i am not going to lie every once in a blue moon if my hair hasn’t been washed in a while and it gets wet I notice a smell of a wet dog.

That has not been my experience. Usually when people say this, they spend most of their time around lower class people.

In my experience, higher class men of all races do not wear cologne or anything like that, and young women always smell sweet because of whatever products they use. The strongest smell on black women is usually some sort of cocoa butter based hair product.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Since 1998 I have been working with mostly black fellow employees who have grad degrees and so on.

If your location is correct, you live in a place with 14,000 people and about 500 are black.

I live in a city of 1,000,000 people and most of them are black.

I live in Japan. An Indian guy asked our group last week if Indians had a smell. The Japanese laughed. The Indian guy was shocked.

Then I told the Japanese guys they have a smell as well. They were shocked.

Every ethnicity has its own smell OP, including us white people.

It's not race only but it has a huge impact on smell. Here's a list of things that impact smell:

Melanin (why black people will smell weird to pale people such as asians and whites, and vice versa)
Apocrine glands (different races have their glands produce different smells)
Sweat (not all races sweat as much)
Pilosity (different levels of hairiness
Diet (white people eat more meat and dairy, which aren't as prevalent in Japanese diet and will smell stinky to Japanese people, etc)

Tldr yes every race smells, even whites.

Blacks do have a distinct smell but ive fuked 3 Black girls and none of them smelled like that. Legit 100% Africans aswell.

Mostly diet. Back when Japanese people didn't eat diary and hardly any red meat, they said Europeans stank like spoiled milk, TBF at the time white people weren't big on hygeine either so that might have something to do with.

Indian people smell like curry because if you eat a ton of spice you sweat it out. I have been on hot buses in India full of people coming home and it was something special. Building site sweat coupled with rancid curry smell. But generally speaking Indians are very hygenic if they possibly can be.

I live in the DC metro, and grew up in Newark NJ, and then lived in Queens for a few years.

Def personal hygiene. Also foods (I’m looking at you Indian brahs). A lot of blacks smell like coca butter. I know some people like that smell but it smells terrible to me. At least it’s not a dirty smell tho. The race doesn’t matter as much imo as personal hygiene but prob does play a role, I’ve been in line waiting behind someone of every race that smelled like pure ass because they were just nasty. I was waiting in line at a convenience store the other day and this fat white man with super long hair was stinking up the whole store. Dudes hat had a brown sweat ring around the bottom 3rd and his black shirt was disgusting. His hair was dripping oil. One of the nastiest people I’ve ever witnessed that didn’t seem to be homeless.

Edit now that others mention it, when I played sports through high school blacks BO and whites did have a different smell. Onions is correct for blacks and sweaty whites do have a mildew smell.

that guy is a fuking retard, he goggled "falls church, va", it says 14k people, which of course is within city borders. saying there are only 14k people where you live wouldnt apply unless it was a remote mountain town in montana or some chit. With Indians, it's just the curry diet I think, not genetic. They could probably get rid of it by changing their diet.
