Because we have a regressive tax system that penalizes production and labor, and rewards rent seeking.

Look at the biggest contributor of GDP in America. Finance, Insurance and Real Estate , which is 23%.

There isn't even a possible way this could count as production, because all it does is destroys production.

It is the ultimate illusion of the neoliberal elite lol.

This sector also contributes nothing to taxes, hence the Blumpf tax cuts. It's all set up to benefit rentiers, who also control the three branches of government.

This is why Americas debt to GDP is 120%, and the economy needs to be stimulated every year to prevent depression.

The Fed literally has a mandate to keep the rich rich and the poor poor through inflation.

That's also not true. The only thing people pay for here is college if they're upper middle class or above, and health insurance if they're upper middle class and don't have it covered by their employer. Most people are retards, so they don't know we have socialized healthcare for povertons, and most colleges, even the Ivy League, pay for your schooling if your family makes less than $80k a year.

The only difference between the US and EU, is that no one holds your hand in the US.

Where did you get this from? In the most expensive city in the US $130k household makes you upper middle class, that's $65k per person for a two person household.

Capitalism is basically Fabian socialism in 2022, and we are taxed just as much as any communist country. The difference is though we do have ways around the system the more money you make, and the richer you are, the more you're able to stay rich. The end goal is the have yachts vs. the have nots.

This is kind of the same worldwide though, especially with this global society we've created. If I want to get the best surgeon for a certain thing in the world I could just travel to the USA and pay the dude. Lots of athletes come to Medellin to get stem cell treatments done, the private clinic in the Netherlands I got help at for my ankle problem had clients fly in from all over the world.

I mean that's true, but we have way more avenues and corruption to accomplish getting rich. That's why we have the most millionaire and billionaires in the world.

Capitalism is great in its infancy and foundation, but it has been corrupted and utilized to become the most evil entity in the world used almost purely for evil in the grand scheme of things.

It wasn't always this crazy for having children to follow up on your earlier question. Politics (obama especially) and the medical industry turned into an excessively dark business in conjunction with insurance companies to create a monopoly of monetizing everything. It's all for money and nothing more.

The whole world is fukked up, but we are in the end times in America of capitalism that was co-opted to become 100% void of logic in lieu of money and power. In two years America eliminated an entire economic class to create a dual economic class of rich vs. poor and we had the greatest transfer of wealth in history.

These times will go down in history for centuries to come.

Average Western Europeans are much poorer than the typical American. Is this a joke? Everything is super expensive and pay is much lower in Europe. The average person walking around in European cities is a ****** with 4 euros in his bank account.

please provide proof that the claim you are making is accurate. Your claim being that average Americans are poor compared to average West Euro.

I'm not going to pretend America is perfect. But we probably have the most open path to upward mobility. Look at all the self made millionaires/billionaires. Look at the millions of immigrates that come to America for a better life. And build businesses & wealth here. Its freaking easy to make money in America. And to become a millionaire.

America is a country for winners. And if you aren't, life in Europe would likely be easier.

That's a middle class house in the South. I'm 35 but I know dozens of brahs with comparable homes to that. To be perfectly honest, if I were married I'd be living in something like that as well. Most likely on 1.5-2 acres of land.


Perfectly achievable in most of the US as a middle class American. Also throw in about a 90K GMC Yukon and a 90K Ford F250 in the garage and I'd say that's normal middle class where I live.

I know a lot of people with a lot of money saved up who don't even have a car. I also know people who have real estate and drive a second hand car. Now the Dutch are quite known for being frugal so you can't just flatline say it about all of Europe but it's definitely a thing man.

One example is that the first time I heard about people taking loans for a car was on the misc. Never have I seen a Dutch friend or family member buy a car with borrowed money. I'm sure it happens but it's not the standard thing. I never even bothered to get a car because I do grocery shopping either walking or by bike and travel between cities by train is often faster. It's a small luxury that's relatively expensive. While in the USA due to geographical differences a car is more a necessity than a luxury.

I would rather have an opportunity to be rich or poor here in America vs having my hands tied behind my back as a euro cuck.

America isn’t perfect and our system definitely has its flaws, but there’s a reason why most of the worlds millionaires/billionaires came up in America. Our system rewards entrepreneurs and penalizes the bums.

Seeing people in my hometown being successful, forced me to make damn sure I would never live like a poorcel.

Not everyone feels that way, but at least the bums are able to live like bums and the people that WANT good money can fast track themselves into doing so.
