What to invest in?
Don’t trust stocks enough to put much money in the market I think we’re a country in decline so how could the stock market continue to climb?
I always wanted to invest in re and be a landlord but I’m afraid that liberal policies will ruin landlording in the future and make it so only huge corporations can make money in re
Is there anything that is actually a safe investment?

The man who thinks too much acts on nothing.
Just pick something and go with it. What amount of investment are we talking?
The market may be the place to be over the next 20-30 years if money printer keeps going brrrrr....will be one of the few ways to keep your money relevant.

You're probably going to lose, it's just a matter of how much. Nut up and roll the dice or take the lower risk/reward and try to be diversified to lessen the pain
It's just a matter of what type of person you are

I mentioned it earlier today in a different post, but I'll say it again. Put $10k in I-bonds. It's basically a 9% T-bill.

$10k is the max, but it really is a great deal. Takes about 5-10 minutes to make an account with the treasury and buy the bond.

Stock market is out for me right now as far as advising someone to do it given the current state of the economy so I won't even make a big deal about it but I still have long term holds. And did make allot of money at one point years ago.
The best way is have multiple sources of income, i.e. a real job + side hustles, i.e. vending machines, learning a skill and charging for it using apps like thumbtack, uber, lyft, grubhub (you can do that on your own free time) if you're a lifter with a good physique build up your social media clout and get clients to train plus revenue from the subscription/ views then keep saving and eat cheap food like beans/rice so you can save more. Then start looking at self serving car washes/laundry mats to purchase (more passive income to give you MORE TIME for your side hustles) (At one point I had almost 10 different sources of income) then when you have saved enough purchase real estate ( those are just a couple of examples/options, there are many more, think outside the box)
Every year you should be making more than the year before and making sure you're progressing 1-2% per week on your net worth at least. Get years of that under your belt, try to live with family/friends to save money on rent. Or get a stealth van to save a HUGE amount. Make sure you're writing off as much as you can on taxes, educate yourself and go to a specialist with good reviews.
And then when you have enough money for a down payment on a house do it in a highly populated area or close to it (right outside of a city, not in a city) that way the price of your property won't fluctuate too much even in a recession (location location location is the rule with real estate) then rent out some of the rooms and have extra driveways / space storage to rent those out to people for more monthly cash flow. You want a LARGE monthly cash flow + a large saving to show lenders you're doing things right, then buy another property and rent that out. there's government programs that used to allow only 5% down (not sure if still around but you're technically not allowed to rent with that method) just as an example I have two rooms rented out that generates enough money to cover my mortgage and then some because I put 30% down with a 2.99 rate) I also just got a guy paying me $150 per month to store his RV in my side driveway, not living in it. Storage only. The extra $150 per month = $1800 a year doing nothing ALL PASSIVE INCOME. That's what you strive for.
Then buy more properties and rent those out and keep building and building your net worth up, if anything bad happens you can always sell and still be making a profit because of the equity increasing so fast in a popular area. My old landlords did this over a 40 year period and ended up with 14 houses worth 2 mill each on average. Then you need to learn about taxes so you can save ALLOT because that's what all the UBER rich people do. Especially if you're selling a house with a profit of over 450k you can do something like a 1031 exchange to save a CHIT LOAD of $$$
I could type plenty more. There's so much potential. All you have to do is want money as much as you need to breath air.
Edit- and of course if nice physique....Only Fans

Not sure if I'm retarded or not. Is this a list of the interest rates paid every six month offering? It looks too good to be true.
Edit, maybe I am retard. It now looks like that's the rate for every period purchased in today's rates. Like if I bought in September 1998 today my interest would be 13.18%. But if I bought today and 5 years from now the composite rate was 5% I'd be only paid out 5% on that bond, correct?
Virtue is its own reward.
