ITT policies that would reverse obesity in the USA in 1 or 2 decades

1. Public health messages that breakfast should be skipped and that two medium meals should be had per day in the afternoon and evening.

2. Public health messages to eat fatty meat and fish alongside leafy green vegetables and fatty plants like olives in a very low carb diet.

3. GOV subsidies for producers of meat not grains.

4. GOV investment grant matching schemes for Venture Capital firms engaging in seed investing in companies specialising in innovative ways to produce, package and store meat, not plant-based replacements.

5. Carb tax on anything that goes more than 20 grams of total carbohydrates per 100 grams.

Legalized prostitution. Then we can turn to hookers for stress relief instead of binge eating.

None of this will ever happen, sadly.

-stop serving jumbo portions for 2-3 people at restaurants

- a heavy focus on educating people about the importance of good nutrition and exercise all the way from kindergarten

-ban the use of hfcs and sugar as a filler in foods

-resdesign cities to make it easier for people to travel by foot

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Probably something to make healthy eating cheaper or incentivize a weight loss program, give people a cash refund if they can prove they reached a certain calorie limit/burning goal and lost weight as a result.

Some jobs pay for gym memberships and give healthy food vouchers, that would help employees who just get fatter from desk jobs.

US is obese due to poverty and the fact that carbs are cheap. I live in a wealthy college town, and ever since the Income of parents at the school went up, the average weight also went down. I never see obese college kids anymore, when in the past is was relatively common.

#3 is the suggestion from the OP with which I agree.

Low carb works but so do other strategies.

We should bring back fat shaming IMO. Change the culture to promote lean/athletic/muscular and discourage obesity. Do PSAs about chit food like the ones they did for the war on drugs. Would be lulzy… and maybe effective.

Also cutting down on the sugar content in food, a lot of these snacks and sodas would taste just fine with 30% less sugar.
