Freedom of not having kids

Let us childfree brahs take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for not giving into society pressure and appreciate the freedom of not having children.

Just scrolled through my FB feed which I haven't done in ages, and seeing all of these girls who used to be hot but turned fat and just gave up after having kids.

They post 'happy' pictures of themselves and their children, but I see right through it. Especially when you read their posts about how tough they have it being a mother and working at the same time lmao.

I just find it funny when so many idiots have kids when they are not financially or mentally prepared to have them. Every millennial parent I speak to talks about how much work it is and that they don't get much time to themselves, like, noshit? What did you expect?

Nah I don't have a problem with people like my parents who were actually prepared to have children. Financially stable and at the point of their lives where it made sense.

I'm just making the observation of so many millennials I've seen who were dumb enough to pop kids out just because they wanted them/or thought it'd change their lives for the better even though they weren't ready, then have the nerve to complain about their situation.

Yeah feelsgoodman not having kids, I have almost no responsibilities and can do what I want whenever I want.

Most of my friends are settled down, have kids or are expecting one yet I live a comfortable stress free life.

Curious for those who have kids, what exactly do you think you accomplished by having one? Actually, why do you think you accomplished anything at all?

You do know that humans will be extinct one day. Meaning your genes will be wiped away from existence same as the people who don’t have kids.

Hell even if humanity doesn’t get wiped away and your genes do live on… what did that accomplish? That your offspring then passed on genes to the next generation? Strong marker of success when none of this actually means anything.


The people having kids with the argument they’ve passed in their genes are the ones coping the most. In the end you’ll still die and be forgotten. Having kids has always been a way to cope with mortality in the sense that you “live on” through your children and your childrens children etc.

If you want to have kids because it’s time we’ll spent to you and you enjoy hanging out with children then absolutely good for you. If you do it because you think that you’ve achieved some sort of grand accomplishment then you’re stupid as fukk.

I'm part of the No Kids Crew but I'd love nothing more than having a couple of kids with a good woman and just being a dad. I'm not quite there yet but I'm still in it.
