The day/night cycle in game aligning with real life blew my mind back then.

They need to just get it over with an make the damn games an MMO with all the regions and ALL the pokemon into one massive game like WoW, but I know they won't do that for 2 reasons. Nintendo's online is complete chit even as a paid service, and 2, they know they can nickle and dime the fan base to death releasing two versions of the same damn game for $60/each.
