Ever have a date, goes well, but then

Suddenly she just stops being interested?
No obvious reason why. Convo was flowing, leading up to the date we were having good banter over text (that's why I was so confident going in to it that it'd go well).

She suggests we meet again before the date is even over. So we plan for about 4 days out and say we will confirm nearer the time which place and time etc.

We text back and forth after that but her responses seem off. When the date we agreed comes around I tell her I get off work at X time. She says she's super busy atm with work before she goes on vacation so not sure she will have time.

How can this happen within literally 4 days ..? Weird af man

It's because she found someone better. You were her 2nd or 3rd option.

Forget her and move on.

It’s happened to me. I’ve realized it’s impossible to know what causes the loss of interest. And a lot of times girls can fake interest during a date in order to get a free meal, safety concerns, trying to be nice, or keeping you as an option incase her top choices don’t pan out.

Might as well just expect it to happen and not get invested.

Loss of interest occurs very easily when they are saturated with messages and attention from 100s of guys.

Its not weird it just means she didnt like yo uenough and was too shy to make it apparent. ghosting is basically the most polite way to show disinterest.

date didn't go as well as you thought it did as the likely culprit

I mean I'm sure it went "Great" for you but was "ok" or "meh" for her

This is the harsh truth. You have to move fast in todays dating world. If a girl gets 20 matches a day, that's 80 in 4 days (really low balling here), so that's 80 men who could be more appealing than you at the moment.

Happens to the best of us brah. There's thousands of reasons and many of them probably have nothing to do with you. She could've lost interest, her ex of 5 years might be back in the picture, or whatever. Don't let it get to you, keep busy and do your thing

Could be anything

if you genuinely were on your A-game and feel you did everything perfect (and arent lying to yourself about it) then nothing you can do.

Could be a variety of things. Probably bad timing or smth. Relationships usually need a combination of mutual attraction, compatibility, and timing in order to get going. Timing is probably the biggest one of the 3 imo

timing is incredibly crucial

lots of men/women go on dates without being "ready to date," they realize this and then vanish

seems like most people nowadays are not over their ex at all and really need to get over it already

anyone saying because you didn't bang is retarded lol. Maybe is this was tinder and you invited her over to your place while talking very freaky over text....

no kiss? didn't go that well then

i'm not going to sit here and say you have to absolutely bang any girl who agrees to hang out with you, but if you THINK the date went super well but a kiss didn't happen, then recalibrate.

have you never had a first date where you DID kiss? i'm sure you would say that date went better. She surely has had a date like that.

doesn't necessarily mean that, could be literally anything

I stopped talking to hot chicks because I found out they live too far away or something, no other reason

LMAO at thinking this means anything. All these girls belong to the streets.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

Only way is to not have any expectations… this way you will only be pleasantly surprised instead of perpetually disappointed. Gotta be your best self and just play the numbers game. Keep your dates relatively cheap and worst case if you’ll go out with a girl twice, spend $100 and then she ghosts.

One good date doesn’t mean anything anyway.

The eye opener for me came when I was on a date and she showed me her account with 1000 plus messages.

At that point, she could go on a new first date every day for about 3 years. Staggering.
