Nah only 2 options.. whore or wife

If you are together & she is exclusive to you and wants your baby & you want the same she is your wife.

If not she is your whore and you’re just using her holes until the next brah comes along

Yeah for the longest time whenever someone said "partner" it automatically meant they were full h0m0. Seems like younger millenials and older zoomers will call their hetero boyfriend or girlfriend partner and it's really confusing.

you can clear up the confusion by asking what their partner’s pronouns are

I say partner at work bc I'm still technically married in the military but we've been separated for years and each have other SOs. Partner just means I don't have to explain that to anyone at the office

Agreed.

I refer to Mrs Flex as my wife even though we are not married. Girlfriend sounds too juvenile at our age and partner sounds gay.

We're almost 17 years together now so wife is close enough.

...and all your co-workers knew there was a line in the sand that you do not cross.

I have a couple of general rules in life. I dont tangle with people with Face tattoos nor do I joke with someone about their wife after they've called her "their old lady"...

Not sure if I've ever said it out loud, filled it out on some forms though. I'm not legally married, but we have 3 kids together and have lived together for over 8 years. I just say wife. The contract with the state has never mattered. I guess we'll do it some day just for the formality.

If they don’t say bf/gf/husband/wife I automatically assume they’re gay.

If someone says partner, I automatically assume they are a colossal ****g0t.

Yes, some millennials and zoomers use this term, but I also automatically assume all millennials and zoomers are colossal ****g0ts.

This. At least in Texas, you're legally married and have to actually get a divorce if you split up.

I actually agree with this. I always find it cringe af when I hear grown adults using the terms "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" to describe someone they are dating. It starts sounding absurd once the people in question are older than their early 20's.

One dude who used to be a buddy of mine started dating a single mother a couple of years ago. This guy was like 32 years old and referring to a ~30 year old single mother as his "gf". Chit like that just sounds ridiculous to me. He'd also do cringe asss chit like refer to her as "the lady" he was seeing before he decided to officially take her and her massive amounts of baggage on.

On that note, I also find it kind of odd when people refer to grown women as "girls". You don't call grown men "boys", you call them "men" or "guys". I realize that the female version of the term guy, "gal", isn't nearly as heavily used, but it doesn't mean you need to use the female equivalent to the term "boys" to describe grown women by calling them girls. Just call them women and be done with it.
