Old NHL was about hooking holding, much less ability for players to move. Many teams would build some of their lineup out on toughness and size as well. Col went opposite putting small fast guys like Helm and Cogliano on the bottom six.

Did anyone find it strange that in a close game with 5 min left, they pulled out the Stanly Cup as if the winner was already decided?
I rarely do conspiracy theories, but couldn't Tampa score 1 goal with that much time to go?
I just found it weird as a hockey newbie.

They did it boyos! I’m elated. I remember watching the 2001 Avs win the cup when I was in high school. It’s been a long 20 years but this team is sensational and I’m so happy to see them raise that hardware again. Reps all around!

Congrats boyo! Avs deserved it. Team was fast AF. Makar is only 23 which is wild. I remember watching Avs in 2001 as well that was a great series. Joe Sakic wins the cup as a player, and now as a GM. Das it meng.

We just traded magic beans in a terrible draft for a proven 24 year old 3x40 goal scorer

Ottawas top 6 is the best under 25 forward group in the league now

Every forward has a 70+ point potential minus formenton/joseph, but if we get giroux then that will be the most balanced top 6 in the league

Yes fukn srs are srs? You can clearly see Tkachuk move his skate blade up a little bit so he gets Chef good.
