Nope. I'm just going to tell you what's "wrong" by telling you how a remake would go:

First the opening scene would have a rainbow flag somwhere. There wouldn't be many white people, it would be mostly non-whites. Lost of plus sized people as well. All couples would be interracial. There would be at least one gay couple, and lesbian couple. No doubt a trans person or two in the scenes. Don't forget that the role of "Pam" would probably be a fat black woman. Any whites would be protrayed as stupid or the bad guy. No doubt the leading male would also be a black man. The show wouldn't make it past 2 seasons and would flop and they would wonder why.

This is precisely how it would go. Pretty much every reboot post 2012.
