RDR 2 already introduced strong female npc characters. Sadie Adler was hot and had a fun personality.

If done right then it would be great. If its some over the top Latina / Black, non-feminine annoying PC one then... its gonna suck balls lol

Lots of games have had female protagonists over the years now. This would be nothing new. Rockstar is late to the party.

If Bonnie and Clyde type of storyline, I think you switch between the two as the story progresses. But yeah I enjoy playing as a female cuz I enjoy looking at her body. Seeing a guy run and his ass facing you makes you gay after a few hours.

I forsee a lot of problems with having a female main character in a game like this. The whole premise of the game is you want to climb up the criminal ranks to eventually become the boss of the city. To have a Latina as the main character means you are already setting up a negative stereotype and reinforcing that Latinas are criminals. Then you need to do missions that involve negotiating with thugs, fighting, violence, shootouts, car jacking etc. Thugs aren't going to mince their words or fists against a female protagonist and this will inevitably anger people who will feel there is sexual violence, discrimination, abuse, harassment etc. If you sanitize the thugs interactions for the sake of being woke, then you'll anger gamers who want an immersive, realistic experience. Then how will the character be designed? If you make her too "sexy", you'll be accused of sexualizing the character. Woke mob get offended by stereotypes so then how will the female character sound? If she's Latina, will she have an accent?

I dunno...it's not the right game for a female main lead.

It's over. Now it'll just be just another soulless open world game in a sea of them. Sure it'll be a massive financial success based on name alone but it's not from the same Rockstar many of us grew up knowing.
