Yeah, started going grey in early twenties and by thirties was probably 50% grey. Have been dyeing my hair for years and it looks totally natural while making me look much younger than I would otherwise.

Have never really understood why more greycels don't do this. I mean if you're Richard Gere and it actually adds to your appeal then sure, why bother. But for most of us mortals it only makes us look better/younger and it's super easy.

I'm not sure what you mean about the best method. I just have the hairdresser mix up the dye with some hydrogen peroxide (I think). Stuff becomes a white paste that she then applies with a brush. Whole thing takes around an hour. They'll probably make you apply some of the dye to your skin first to make sure you're not allergic to it. I was to the first couple of dyes I tried but then found one I was ok with and have been using it ever since.

Going grey is so easily solved. It's when the Norwood reaper comes for you that you have real problems (fortunately no issue there for me).

Yeah I’m 34 and have a really youthful face / full head of hair thankfully. Don’t think I wanna pay to have a proper hairstylist do it. Was thinking of more poverty methods.

It's pretty easy to do at home I think. You'd just get the dye (which is cheap) and some hydrogen peroxide. Mix it up then apply it with a brush. Have just never tried it because knowing my own general incompetence I'd **** it up and end up with blackface or something.

Come on brah, this whole forum is (or was meant to be) about vanity and aesthetics. Is it really worse to dye your hair to maintain your 'real' hair colour than fill your body with tren, etc?

Yeah, grey hair is pretty disconcerting when you still look young otherwise.

Been touching up my beard with a brown furniture pen and a sharpie for a few years. Still no greys in my hair though.

I use that Control GX beard wash in my beard and hair. I look like a big q-tip without it.

i get a few grays when im stressed out but now that im ldar my greys have gone away so its all about being healthy

Going to a salon is your best bet.

Boxed hair dye is an option you can get at any store. This of course is usually permanent hair dye. It comes with the color as well as the developer (hydrogen peroxide is different than hair developer). It’s already pre measured so you don’t have to try and mix your own ratios of product. It comes with gloves as well.

You can also go to a Sally Beauty Supply store (or similar) and chat with the staff. They can go over the demi-permanent and permanent dye options. Depending on your hair type and base color, you can choose between developer in strength of 10, 20, 30, or 40.
10 would be just depositing color and 40 is way stronger. Again, you’ll want to ask the staff cause you could really mess it up. With this option you’ll usually have to buy your own bowels, mixing brush and gloves.
Also, if you go the chose your own rout, be careful when choosing the color. You’ll need to know if you need a cool, neutral, or warm undertone, to best match your own color.
