All those injustices that occurred are out of your (and my) reach. So we should focus on the things we have control of, not the things we do not. There's a difference between acknowledging the past injustices as a reason for the current state of certain communities and using excuses.

But agreed that certain members of the community do use it as an excuse.

The more school choice we have, the more competitive schools will become. IE we’re going to give you the best education for the best price we can. The more educated minority communities become, the more successful they will be. Unless you’re applying for a job at Jimbo’s truck stop, you will have a huge leg up against whites in the application process because you’ll check the diversity box, plus you have a good education. All else being equal the minority beats the white man everytime (again, not at Jimbo’s truck stop, but who cares about that?).

For all that to happen, the Democratic teacher unions, who keep poor minorities at a disadvantage, must be dismantled.

I'll point out the one thing that could solve a ton of the "black issues", and that's the single motherhood rate.

A kid is a huge responsibility and the black community in particular does a terrible job at raising their children. Fatherless homes are a huge reason for a lot of the issues we're seeing.

This is true (not the terrible job at raising kids), although the birth rate in general is going down in relation to past few generations and that should include this topic
