Nunes has been stalling the last three rounds, can't blame her really. Pena can't stop the take down.

Nunes is way bigger, more athletic, hits harder
Pena is a true 125 pounder and Nunes is only 2 to 5 lbs lighter than Cyborg. Cyborg can make 140(maybe even 138) but not 135 while Nunes can barely make 135.

i think she's always been the same fighter. most of her opponents have been scared of her and could not stand up to her power. now somebody comes along like Pena who is not afraid of her power, not afraid of getting knocked down, Nunes has to work a little bit. she's never faced somebody as resilient or tough as Pena even though Nunes is clearly the way better fighter.

Nunes looked better than ever, she just played it more cautious this time and had some mental hurdles to get over early on. After that she was all smiles, looked in better shape than Pena too. First fight she had covid and some injuries to deal with so she gassed easy.
Nunes wins 9 times out of 10 Vs Pena, especially with Pena's trash corner advice.

I can't stand Dumb Ass Dan, one of the absolute worst refs in the game. We were robbed of a good fight with that ridiculous early stoppage.

As for Lion Heart, time to hang um up. When did he last win a fight? He talks a lot of chit on the podcast but never delivers anything other than a mediocre performance. Why do fighters keep doing leg kicks if their bone structure and conditioning can't handle it? It's dumb. Him, Conor, Weidman, Sean just to name a few. All fked their own legs up. Don't kick if your bones are made of glass.

Agree with this. He always stands dudes and separates them so early too. This isnt the first time he fuked up a fight. Hes one of the worst refs for sure.

Moreno- Just better
Pavlovich- Don't know much about him but Lewis looks fat again, probably just collecting $ now
Ankalaev- Smith is a classic gatekeeper, can beat and look good against lower level guys but can't handle the step up

Nunes better than ever? No way. Her run after losing to Zingano where she beat Valentina x 2, Holy, Miesha, Cyborg, and Ronda is where she was a straight killer. This was FAR from those performances. Props to Peña for being tough as hell, but the vintage Nunes runs through her.

Time to hang it up for Anthony Smith? When has he won? Guy was on a 3 fight win streak, and his only losses since phuking 2016 had been to Jon Jones, Glover, Rakic, and Santos back in 2017 when he was actually somebody.

Lol, wtf do you mean their bone structure can’t handle leg kicks? So you are going to cherry pick a couple random injuries over years of countless cage fights to prove a point? Sean’s injury wasn’t from kicking anyhow, it was from being kicked, leg shut off, and he rolled his foot/ankle. So what, since guys break their hands they should stop punching too?

'Far from one of her best performances'
Brb Pena comes out looking like Quasimodo and literally needs plastic surgery now lmao

You just listed all the reasons he should hang um up

Years ago leg kicks were never used you moron, they're a relatively modern technique. Casual

Look at how trashed Amanda’s face is, and that is against the absolute rudimentary striking of Peña. And she got lucky she almost got submitted again.

Smith is 34, and fights in a division where guys can generally still be competitive later. LHW is super thin currently with few big names, so lots of fights left there. I also really like his analysis as a current fighter still in the game.

Leg kicks a modern technique? Lol, they have been effective since the early days Marco Ruas and Pedro Rizzo. The relatively modern technique popular now you are referring to is the calf kick.

Casual? Sit down son, adults are talking.

Telling Smith to retire is ridiculous lol. Fighting is how he makes a living. He will probably never have another opportunity to make the kind of money he is making in the UFC. He might be a certified gatekeeper but he is still top 10 in the world, and easily has another few years there. LHW sucks but it is what it is. Why on earth would he retire? Because he will never be champ? 99.9% of pro MMA fighters will never be a UFC champion.

That isn't a leg kick, it's using his knee to keep separation. If you ever did any clinch work you'd know that casual
