its 270 degrees to impact, not sure if 0.14 seconds is correct.. and the idea is to swing the fastest at the bottom, ie accelerate..

so I calculate my peak speed at around 130mph. My radar must be broken

The .14 was measuring the 180 degrees only as that way you weren't starting with a speed of 0 (I gave time for the club to already be moving at speed before the clock started).

The 72" distance could be off as well, but probably close.

Yes, there would be slight variations in club speed during the swing (probably peak right before hitting the ball as gravity helps the down swing).

ah I see you arent a golfer

ultra elite players like myself try to create lag in the clubhead much like cracking a whip. You do this by moving the clubhead slowly from the top and accelerating as late as possible. Swinging hard from the top doesnt work
