Public or private?

Back in the day when we were kids, i believe Canadian education and lifestyle was goat. Now probably not so much.

Probably South Eastern Europe?
But im combining education and environment to raise a child that wont be a degenerate.

Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea are all good.

US has the greatest higher ed programs though and probably the most elite high schools too if your kid can place in them. Actually, US is clearly #1 on everything if you can afford it.

I asked education b/c it's one of the most important aspects of a childhood that cannot be controlled by parents but pretty much was getting to environment as a whole

What's in US private schools that is so good?

I only see privileged kids getting jobs placed by their rich parents

Seems to be more of a status thing instead of education

Russia but you have to live in a good school district

Alternatively you could probably pay bribes but we were in the top district so idk

Also if you have a son you have to get him out of the country before he’s 18

In terms of higher education, maybe the West although with the leftie invasion of learning institutions it's not clear. The elite US and UK universities, however, are still pretty revered.

In terms of public schooling, probably somewhere in the East... Western schooling makes workers, not thinkers.

Have worked in UK education system and not only is it cucked beyond belief, but schools don't give a fuk about kids' education but rather statistics for OFSTED and funding.

Japan start their education with basic life/social/respect skills which is totally skipped in UK education

Just lol at people quoting Japan and South Korea. Young people are miserable because of the strict education there.

K-12? any highly socialized country like China, Sweden, South Korea, Japan, etc.

Schools have great amenities and are highly competitive. Teachers are highly compensated and well-respected. 10+ hour school days are the norm.

For Europeans it is said that Finland has the best education system. it tends to produce the highest school testing scores.

Here in America our education system could be greatly improved. The Democrats and teachers unions are not on board with this though.

As an example, charter schools which are government funded schools tend to have students that perform better. What charter schools do differently compared to teacher union run schools is that they will fire incompetent teachers and teachers are allowed to take control of their classes. If a student is disrupting a class, the student can be removed from the classroom and even the school.

Charter Schools and Their Enemies Hardcover – June 30, 2020

https://www.amazon.com/Charter-Schoo...s%2C103&sr=8-1

A leading conservative intellectual defends charter schools against the teachers' unions, politicians, and liberal educators who threaten to dismantle their success. The black-white educational achievement gap -- so much discussed for so many years -- has already been closed by black students attending New York City's charter schools. This might be expected to be welcome news. But it has been very unwelcome news in traditional public schools whose students are transferring to charter schools. A backlash against charter schools has been led by teachers unions, politicians and others -- not only in New York but across the country. If those attacks succeed, the biggest losers will be minority youngsters for whom a quality education is their biggest chance for a better life.

America and the UK still have the best high-end post-secondary education. as far as child/high school education goes, I think in America it depends where you live, alot of it will be high quality but there's a lot of chit tier districts as well and things like teachers unions, political parties, politics and corruption involved. They seem to spend a lot per capita on education but with not nearly the returns that other countries might get. It's probably better to think of America not as a single country but as separate states with each their own systems. maybe even down to counties as well.

but i think in terms of child education, probably some European country overall. but really even in some 2nd or 3rd world countries some people can still get a great education. I enrolled in a program at a college with a lot of international students from varying countries (Nigeria, India, China, Philippines, etc) and they were all very smart and well educated, often times outperforming domestic students despite being in a different country, english not being their first language and every supposed disadvantage they should have. But then again, these people probably come from well-off parents that valued education highly, as most legal immigrant families do. I know back where my parents came from, school was super competitive where everybody would have tutors come and teach them after school as a child. I think it also helped that teachers are given tools to help control their classroom. In some of these countries it's probably legal (or people turn a blind eye) for teacher's to beat their student's asses for acting up although that would never fly in most places in the west.
